Reps. Green and Sherman announce plan to file articles of impeachment

Even if that is true, it is irrelevant to this. There are zero facts or proof so far of Trump doing anything impeachable. How can elected officials even think about this without facts or proof. To put it politely, what the fuck is wrong these idiots?

Precisely. Obama never had to endure talk about impeachment, let alone, basically, since he took office.

The thing is, there are plenty of things to go after Trump on, however, to pull this hysterical impeachment etc, crap, only makes Trump look right.

Go after Trump for his broken campaign promises, his immature and unpresidential tweeting, the way he talks to foreign leaders, pushes one of them aside etc....

But this crap just solidifies his base and will ensure he does his four years and this crap further divides our country.

Exactly. I like all of what you wrote there.

Harvard's study has been thoroughly debunked. You're actually citing that?

It dealt w/ coverage, and as YOU ADMITTED, Trump has brought a lot of this on himself. Of course the press coverage is going to be negative when the news itself is negative. Trump's admin has been amateur hour from the get go, and you know it. Don't even try to compare it to Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr. or any of them. We've never seen anything like this.

The Harvard study was debunked?

Cite.

Reps. Green and Sherman announce plan to file articles of impeachment

Two Democratic congressmen plan to draft articles of impeachment after accusing President Trump of obstruction of justice, despite a large swath of bipartisan lawmakers warning against a rush to judgment.

More liberal hysteria.

And Thingy claims this is just like it was when Obama was president. :rofl2:

Please let them push this. Oh please God let them push this. Please, please please God let them push this

It is ludicrous these two representatives are filing for impeachment without facts. Beyond ludicrous.
Amazing how the pendulum swings in politics.
Repubs were known as 'the party of stupid' a decade or so ago with their emphasis on legitimate rape, the world being 6,000 yrs. old, etc. but Trump Derangement Syndrome and TARD have really taken hold of dims.
There's what, three investigations on Trump in an attempt to find the nebulous "collusion" ? And these guys want to impeach Trump for obstruction of justice? Justice of what, exactly?
It would make more sense to impeach Trump for tweeting in the middle of the night. At least they could prove that.

Well to be specific, impeachment is a political act not necessarily a legal one. Really they don't need to break any laws to be impeached. What people consider high crimes and misdemeanors is pretty open to interpretation.

But, there is nothing here. The left will salivate. Comey will give them nothing new that already isn't known. The main stream media is dizzy in orgasm over this testimony but will learn nothing new and nothing impeachable.

Green & Sherman have too much time on their hands.

In theory, they can impeach Trump over his hair.

But these idiots [theres no better term for them] aren't interested in evidence. Nor do they apparently think ahead about the political fallout from their actions. People aren't stupid. If they get the sense Trump is being unjustly subjected to impeachment proceedings they are going to conclude it's a witch hunt.

And suppose they do impeach Trump on little or no evidence. Do these dolts think millions of Trump voters will go who quietly into the night? No, they're going to pissed off and will show up in droves to vote against every democrat on the ballot in 2016.

And every republican who voted to impeach.

They are idiots.

I find that interesting. ILA mentioned something along the same lines. I need to study up more on impeachment and thank the both of you for some knowledge I am not familiar with. Tonight I am going to do a little studying on this. Wonder if it is as easy to begin impeach or recall proceedings on elected representatives with the same ease, per se.

A brief Google scan yielded one article critical of the study.

Hardly a 'thorough debunking'.

There was absolutely no corroboration in that study w/ the cause of the press coverage. It merely compared negative stories for both Presidents.

It's literally like the fans of an NBA team saying that the officiating of a game was clearly biased, because the other team didn't get called for the same exact # of fouls.

Never?

During the presidency of Barack Obama, certain Republican congressmembers stated that Obama may have engaged in impeachable activity and that he might face attempts to remove him from office.[SUP][1][/SUP] Rationales offered for possible impeachment included allegations that Obama was born outside of the United States, that he allegedly allowed people to use bathrooms based on their gender identity, an alleged White House cover-up after the 2012 Benghazi attack and failure to enforce Immigration laws. No list of articles of impeachment was ever drawn up and proposed to the Judiciary Committee.

Multiple surveys of U.S. public opinion found that the clear majority of Americans rejected the idea of impeaching Obama, while most Republicans were in favor; for example, CNN found in July 2014 that 57% of Republicans supported efforts while about two thirds of adult Americans in general disagreed.[SUP][2][/SUP]

"What's wrong with these idiots?"

Isn't that something? That's the same thing I said about the idiots in the House when they tried to repeal Obamacare 40 or so times.
