Trump wants to impose work requirement for food stamp users

Actually there Paralegal, you are just talking out your ass like you always do. You show consistently you know nothing about the law, so all of the sudden you are a tax expert. GTFOH. It is bloviating fools like yourself that make people not take liberals seriously anymore. Now, that being put to rest, instead of just talking out your anus, how about you back up your bullshit with some reliable documentation?

Micawber is a dumbass...so are you. Most donation dollars don't go to the people who are supposed to be helped.

Why are lefties opposed to able bodied welfare recipients working for their handouts?

Weren't you always in favor of a "hand up"?

Here's a first for you; STOP AND THINK IT THROUGH!

The point of welfare is for people WHO CANNOT FIND A JOB to get subsistence while trying to get employed. Check the economy from Nixon to present to see there's been a whole lot of joblessness in this country. That being said, "workfare" essentially creates a permanent serving class who work for BELOW minimum wage and have little to no chance of upward mobility, as the promised "job training" rarely if ever materialized.

The "job creators" under the Shrub never did live up to their hype, did they?

And, lifelong welfare creates a permanent class of people who NEVER work at all, becoming slaves to all the people who pay for their existence.

Milagro, the problem is that many of the U.S. "poor" who are criminals are not stealing bread or any food. They're going for big ticket items such as tech toys, cars, rims, giant flat screen TV's or shoplifting clothes, handbags, salon products, etc. Some of those things are sold to acquire cash for nonsense items $20 pizzas to be delivered to their homes every night. I haven't eaten out or ordered in for maybe the last 8 years.

I worked at Florida State Dept. of Health for 4 years. I've seen the waste of taxpayer money first hand. Many of them live in their subsidized housing and drive new Cadillac Escalades to get their "free" healthcare, "free" food at the grocery stores. I worked in the accounting dept. doing the billing. Every day I spent hours on data entry entering the latest patients info including all the "free" delivery of babies. In Florida the hospital stay and delivery charge was $1200. All day long I was typing $1200 to be paid for by all of us taxpayers. Then I'd come home and cry because the whole reason I never had kids was because I knew I couldn't afford to. Instead, I realized that all my entire working life I'd been paying for everybody else's kids. So, I guess the joke was on me.

Just to be clear, it's one thing to need help during a temporary loss of employment, family crisis or weather-related disaster. It's another to be intentionally and systematically ripping off the working class for generations...and with no apparent end in site. I hope you understand...maybe it's different in the U.K., but this is what's been going on here for about the last 70 years.
No it is no different in the UK, we have been cracking down on families that have generations that don't work. Welfare should be a safety net not a hammock but these guys on here just hate the whole concept, period.

Exactly. Well said.

But we all know that you're an overt racist and all your opinions flow from that. Why target welfare when the military is so bloated, or indeed the foreign aid budget? The Interstate road system is getting old and will need massive injections of federal funds, you will have to contribute to that yet you may never use any of the roads outside of Hicksville USA.

The military is a specifically delegated power in the Constitution. Social welfare isn't.

Bloated is an opinion. Whether or not the Constitution allows spending on it isn't one. It's fact. Since the Constitution does not grant any authority for social welfare spending, the first penny spent on it is bloated.

Well you would say that, wouldn't you? If you cannot see a causal link between poverty and crime then it is pointless even talking to you. They felt like that in Victorian times where you could be transported to Australia for stealing some bread, sounds like that puritan streak is still strong over there.

You haven't shown a causation between poverty and crime.

Does your reference to stealing bread mean that you think if something stolen doesn't have much value it's not a problem if it's stolen?

Because (a) many can't earn it (b) the constitutional basis discussed ad nausium supports the idea and (c) we all pay taxes for things we don't support, you aren't alone. Maybe I don't want to pay for your bombs but I do because the representative democracy authorized that expenditure.

Will I always have to educate you like this, repeating over the same points over and over when they never stick? You are both morally and intellectually deficient.

Many can earn it but don't feel a need to because dickheads like you are willing to give them someone else's money.

The Constitution doesn't support social welfare. In fact, it doesn't authorize it.

If you pay taxes to fund the military that's because the Constitution specifically delegates the government to spend tax money on the military. Where does the Constitution give the government specific authority to fund food stamps?

You couldn't teach a fish to swim.

I am not even lecturing you, you can do what you like it's up to you lot. I just want an honest answer to a simple question but all I get is mostly bullshit and bluster instead.

You've been given an honest answer. You don't want the truth, you want confirmation of the bullshit you speak.

As I already pointed out, the interstate road system needs massive amounts of refurbishment and upgrading. The states are unwilling to pay for it, so CFM st al will have to pony up for roads they'll never use.

Sent from my iPhone 25 GT Turbo

That wouldn't be anything new. Those of us that actually pay the taxes that keep the country running are already supporting the niggers, spics, and white trash that won't do for themselves. Seems you think we should fund the roads for them to drive on for free in their pimped out Cadillacs.

I don't care what you asked, I gave you what you needed to hear. Choke on it, turd lick.

So you gave an answer to a question no one asked and then wonder why people consider you to be an idiot. Keep sucking Obama's dick. Maybe you'll choke on it.

It's not that they cannot find a job. They don't want a job.

The reason most don't have any upward mobility is because they don't offer skills more than what most kids learn by the time they're 10.
