Alan Dershowitz rips his own party apart

The democrat party is in shambles, no leader no direction. Not a good place to be a year out from the midterm campaigns.

It is obvious that the "Trump is bad" strategy that they tried to use to sneak Hillary into the whitehouse did not work and will not work moving forward.
Obvious to everyone, except them. Dershowitz, as despicable a man as he is knows there is nothing but losing in the next at least 10 years ahead, and he fears that given his age he will not be relevant ever again.

I for one am loving the increasingly worried hallowed looks painted on the faces of everyone from Anderson Cooper, to Nancy Pelosi and everyone in between.
The lost Party is paying for their fraudulent hold on power.

What's despicable about him? The man is honest, an increasingly rare quality in US politics these days.

I agree, I somehow doubt Dershowitz publically rattled against the democrat party too harshly. But he is on record as admitting the "Trump is bad" strategy is not working. But that he frankly does not no what else can be done.
He is the quintessential lost democrat. A parody of the state of democrat politics today

Dershowitz is liberal but not progressive.

I don't always agree with him but I wish there were more like him.

Derowshitz is not liberal at all, but he is a Democrat that conservatives love. He is generally right-wing on most issues.

Obstruction worked for the GOP - bigly.

As to the claim that collusion isn't criminal behavior, does anyone really want to go w/ that line of defense if it turns out Trump or any of his team DID collude w/ Russia? Really? A major party candidate could seek to gain advantage through one of America's adversaries, and everyone would be okay w/ that because it isn't technically a crime?

But we are told by our board lefties that they have never been more energized. They are going to own Congress

They have won all of the special elections so far.

Do you think that you've more knowledge about legal matters than him, because I'm calling bullshit on you!

It's equally criminal for the previous administration to flagrantly violate the 4th Amendment. And there's actually evidence of it.

But it's like it didn't happen.

The left IS energized. Candidate recruitment is through the roof.

Yeah, too bad about Montana & Georgia. Really thought Dems had a chance in those traditional Dem strongholds.

LOL

There's evidence for one but not the other.

The Obama administration was rebuked by the FISA court for spying on US citizens. But we keep waiting, and waiting and waiting for evidence of Russia colluding with Trump.

And here's the irony: using the intelligence apparatus as a political weapon---that's what the Russians do. And it's like nobody cares.

I'm not sure why you keep talking about the "waiting and waiting for evidence" bit.

It's on ongoing investigation. Again - they do not release evidence as investigations move along. Unless you want more leaks?
