First of all may God help the victims families find some peace today and forward.

Listening to the American liberal talking heads as they parlay around the fact that this deranged bomber was the son of immigrants from Libya, I have grown convinced that nothing short of
an undocumented "guest" (to them) blowing up dozens of people in our streets will convince them that Trump is right in that some sort of common sense restraint, temporarily is the way to go.

how would one compare the Political correctness problem in the UK with that here in the US?

Because here in the US it has reached a frenzy that frankly will get thousands of people killed in short order if not reigned in.
