Democrats say they now know exactly why Clinton lost

I thought the recent poll said otherwise.

Another problem for the democrats is Trump voters ignore the media. Have you seen the media's poll numbers?

Trump's hardcore supporters literally don't care about the truth, at all.

Did you see where Trump ended that CBS interview because the reporter pressed him on his wiretap lie? He really just wants to exist in his own reality.

When Trump is out of office, you'll deny every supporting any of this.

Right lol.

Right lol.

I have precedent on that. It will be exactly like Bush & the Iraq War - the left was on the "wrong side of history" and all that for years. And then you elected a guy who says the war was a huge blunder, and basically turned your back on Bush & his whole family because Trump told you too.

In a few years, and especially after Trump is gone (and has probably taken the GOP down w/ him for awhile), you'll deny that you ever really supported him that much, and be embarrassed about his "liberties" w/ the truth.

Why should we care? Harry Reid set the precedent. Our guy won, and that's all that counts. Oh, and no more 60 votes for SCOTUS pick either. LOL

Nah - it's just the same overly simplistic analysis that we always see.

Clinton had literally a ton of baggage. Any other candidate likely beats Trump, and all of that analysis goes out the window. Heck, if Comey doesn't write a letter 11 days before an election, that analysis goes out the window.

Americans don't like going too far in EITHER direction, and historically, they don't let one party rule for too long. You keep warning about what Dems should & shouldn't do based on an election that they lost by 80,000 votes in 3 states. Forgive me if I don't give that too much weight.

Your party nominated her knowing she had baggage. You had choices and elected not to pursue them

And how does one account for their hubris?

Democrats convinced themselves it didn't matter who they ran. They knew all about Hillary's baggage but she was a woman and it was 'her time'. They thought demographics had shifted to such an extent the white working class---or the working class period, was forever irrelevant.

Keep in mind all of the evidence said otherwise: even after successive shellackings in every election that didn't involve Barack Obama, democrats lost seats and it went on for 8 years.

And even after 2016, many of them STILL think it doesn't matter who they put on the ticket. In 2020 they will go into it thinking the WH is theirs to lose.

Like I said, it's amazing lol.

You guys nominated Trump.

So, what are you talking about?

Indeed we did.

Illegal border entry is down 75%. We may not even need a wall. The majority of Obama era economy stifling regulations have been rescinded. Only a matter of time before the indicators start to reflect it. We got a conservative nominated to SCOTUS and even more importantly prevented another liberal appointment. NK is being pressured like never before.

So far, I like it and would absolutely vote for him again.

Why is having an ID racist?

Is asking for ID to buy alcohol and cigarettes racist as well?

Yes! Yes it is. The MAN trying to keep a brother from his malt liquor! That is straight up racism! Little white boys be walking up and buying their wine coolers and craft beers, but a brother wants a Colt 45 and suddenly it's "ID please!". Mutherfucker, I ain't got none your fancy picture cards bullshit. I gots muh bus pass!

/sarcasm

Well, good luck. Trump is going to be our most fiscally irresponsible President in decades. Let's see how voters feel about that in a few years.

One thing the democrat party is not short of is hubris

They can't help themselves. I think it stems from having natural allies in the media. While on one hand it helps them shape the narrative it has its negative side in that it creates a cocoon wherein they only talk to each other.

Do you know anyone that watched network news anymore? Soon cable news will go the same way- I haven't had a cable subscription in over a year. As internet media takes over it will be more like talk radio, because people will be giving feedback. And when that feedback is nonsense, like Desh and Head, it will be ignored. And like talk radio, "the news" will become more and more truthful, and as that happens the Democrats will lose all their power.

You didn't just describe talk radio as "truthful," did you?
