Donald Trump would still beat Hillary Clinton if the president election was held today, according to the results of the latest poll conducted by the Washington Post.

The outcome of the poll — which surveyed 1,004 adults nationwide — showed that only two percent of Trump supporters regret voting for him last November, while at least ninety-six percent still believe it was the right thing to do.

However, only 85 percent of Hillary Clinton supporters said they’d vote the same way. Two percent of the Clinton voters said they would instead cast their vote for Trump, while the rest said they would vote for a different candidate or abstain entirely.

That means that Trump would beat Clinton 43 percent to 40 percent in a hypothetical rematch.

JPP myths blown the fuck out:

1) The myth of the regretful trump voter. Sorry, not fucking true.

2) The myth that Clinton could have won if it weren't comey (it's been months now and the weiner laptop stuff should be immaterial in peoples minds)

3) The myth that the electorate in general is regretful. Nope. Some people may dislike trump, but months later, America collectively agrees, "Well, at least he's not BILL CLINTONS WIFE!"

HAHAHAHA.

Myth 4: "Republicans no longer have energy"

Truth: Nope republicans have more energy than democrats did in 2009

Actually, they're not worth jack shit whether you like them or not.

They're a reasonable guide - better than a hunch.

But the tone of the OP cracks me up. Grind has such a chip on his small-minded shoulder about all of this stuff.

Methinks he's in for a rough one in '18. I'll pray for him.

Translation: polls are ridiculous until there is one that I like.

strawman. never have said polls are ridiculous. In fact I was one of the few after the election that was saying that the polls weren't wrong. The issue is people don't know how to interpret polls (like you).

For example, you, in your limited intelligence, look at something that says "30%" and you decide that means 0%.

Guide is a very good word...that's exactly what polls are meant to do.

I knew this thread would make thing1 butthurt. It's basically made for him.

Trump - Fundraising more than obama.

America - still hates clinton more, even after all the "controversial" stuff trump has done.

Trump Voters - They have no regrets at all. They are very happy and content with their decision.

The bolded is kinda funny considering how much you're overinterpreting this poll.

Polls aren't supposed to be interpreted, there's nothing there to interpret. Even if there is they won't. This is exactly why Zappa still won't ever admit that 2 + 2 = 4. Polls aren't supposed to make sense or give you anything to think about. If you read a poll and start actually thinking then the pollsters have failed.

40% is pretty good.

America is more polarized than ever before and I don't think that is going away for a long time.

"LOL" doesn't even cut it on the bolded. That's insane.

At this stage of his Presidency, 40% is tragic. And his honesty & trustworthiness is at 25% - off the charts low. They were saying that no one has been that low, ever.

Trump sucks. You know it, I know it. Worst thing that could happen to the GOP. By the next election, it will be challenging to find someone willing to admit they voted for him.

You lost. Get over it. Your opinion didn't mean shit before the election and it doesn't mean anything now.
