Lefty justices have taken to citing foreign laws in their stupid opinions, and, since Sharia Law has been permitted in enclaves of the UK (whose common law tradition is the source of US jurisprudence), it's certainly a danger.

I agree that the vote is kind of superfluous, given we have a constitutional prohibition against theocracy. That said, it sends the proper signal to anyone thinking about instituting Islamic law or Islamic courts.

Get enough Muslims here, and the latter issue will come up.
