The most recent report, which was published in September, showed re-engagement of prisoners through July 15, 2016. The report included information on 693 prisoners released since the prison opened in 2002. The government reported that 17.6 percent -- 122 individuals -- had been "confirmed of re-engaging" and 12.4 percent -- 86 individuals -- "suspected of re-engaging" in terrorism.

this is july though so its probably more now.

Kindly check which prisoners were released before President Obama was elected in 2008. The vast majority he of those prisoners were released under the Bush administration.
 
The Gitmo Tweet was correct in the "122 have returned to terrorism" Incorrect in saying Obama did them all

( and we got a AQAP leadership in the last airstrike who was a Gitmo detainee -but wrongly blamed Obama for all the releases.

However since Obama did reclassify a lot of them down from "high value" - i suspect you are going to see a lot more recidivism.
CONCLUSION: they never should have been released by Obama in his zeal to close Gitmo
