I think trump's an ass, but happen approve of some of what he's doing. E.g., getting rid of that ridiculous WOTUS reg.
Besides I can't remember even KKK types getting violent over Obama supporters.
The Bay Area is well known for being a hard left wing nest, especially Berkeley. They're not right.
Having Pelosi as minority leader doesn't bode well for dims. San Francisco values are more radical than even Boston's

It was a continuation of anti-trump fervor that will continue as long as he's in office.

It was a gathering of forces that will show up at the polls at the mid-terms.

It was rejection and repudiation of a fucking maniac in the White house.

Most importantly, it was a statement to the Trump government from the students at Berkley. A statement to an insane government that forced a goddamn pedophile onto their campus that didn't want him there.

Trump may have gotten 5% of the vote in Berkeley. As crazy as Trump is I don't think his team views Berkeley, or the Bay Area, as a place they would win in the future.

BAC, since you weren't posting at the time feel free to go back and read my anti-Trump posts prior to the election if you think I'm acting like people on the left are the only ones without principles. Why you keep trying to deflect to the tea party is because you know this activity yesterday is against what the left claims to stand for.

Who told you the Left stands for doing nothing in the face of an enemy? Who told you that?

Protest, violent if necessary, has been a mainstay of the Left since the 60's. Peaceful protest is always preferred .. but violence will be met with violence.

I believe you didn't vote for Trump .. but sometimes you're confusing my friend. How do you not know about violent Tea Party protests? What in the world makes you believe that the actions of your party shouldn't be a consideration in judging what democrats do?

History. The left generally starts things and never finishes them. They do not have a history of seeing anything through to the end, just compromise or rolling over.
