Remember When?

Sessions stated quite plainly while under oath:

"I did not have communications with the Russians.”

As it turns out, Mr. Sessions met twice with Mr. Kislyak, once at the Republican National Convention in July, and again in his Senate office in September.

And everyone remembers what Republicans said about lying under oath when they impeached Clinton:

It doesn't matter what he lied ABOUT.

What matters is he LIED UNDER OATH.

two words....TRUMP CAMPAIGN

that's the issue, and you fell for it.

Um...no. He wasn't asked about himself. He was asked if anyone involved with the trump campaign spoke with Russian officials. He just answered in the first person, trying to hide the truth.

Under oath.
there we have it.....telling the truth under oath......something liberals are unfamiliar with.......no wonder they are confused.....

Remember when Republicans impeached Bill Clinton?

Back then they said: It doesn't matter what the lie was ABOUT.

All that mattered was HE LIED UNDER OATH.

Now however they seem to be singing a different tune...go figure.

Ma Clinton lied about her email server under oath, not once but several times!!

Sessions said quite clearly, while UNDER OATH:

"I did not have communications with the Russians."

Except he DID!

IOW...HE LIED!

EOS.

Franken: "CNN just published a story alleging that the intelligence community provided documents to the president-elect last week that included information that quote, ‘Russian operatives claimed to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.’ These documents also allegedly say quote, ‘There was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump's surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.’

"Now, again, I'm telling you this as it's coming out, so you know. But if it's true, it's obviously extremely serious and if there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do?"

Sessions: "Senator Franken, I'm not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn't have — did not have communications with the Russians, and I'm unable to comment on it."
========================
He was asked during the hearing about communications between Russia and the Trump campaign — not about meetings he took as a senator and a member of the Armed Services Committee.
Where exactly is the lie or the attempt to deceive considering both the question and the answer in context

the question asked to him was about involvement with the trump campaign. you HAVE to remember, it's wordspeak with these statist fuckers that mean to rule us and you fell for it. it's as bad as 'the meaning of the word 'is''.
The question was whether or not he was under oath? It seems like a pretty simple question...no?

Just because he didn't respond to the question posed, doesn't mean that the told the truth under oath.

First, without prompting, the idiot brought himself under the umbrella of 'campaign surrogate'. He then went on to lie about meeting with the Russians.
