Ethno-nationalism is in itself an oxymoron. Its much like re-defining marriage, marriage has always been a traditional union between a man and a woman with that tradition beginning with a religious philosophy....then comes the attempt to re-define the traditional marriage to include same sex unions. The reality? You can call that union whatever you wish but it will never be a marriage because the term marriage is defined as a union between the sexes with the end to reproduce a continued bloodline of humanity. Its the same with the attempt to redefine NATIONALISM that has as its foundation an assimilation of many cultures into to one nation with a common objective..the molding of many cultures into ONE NATION.

When the objective is to retain cultural foundations making them 'unique' to all other cultures....there is no sense of nationalism possible as there can be no total assimilation....there will always be division whenever one culture is presented as being SPECIAL, its simply another name for ELITISM.
