Food and drink giant Nestle is about to take a “Nestea plunge” of a different sort — namely, moving its operations from liberal California all the way to business-friendly Virginia.

According to an op-ed in Investors Business Daily, Nestle USA will be moving its headquarters from the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale to Rosslyn, a Virginia city just outside Washington, D.C. It will be taking 1,200 jobs with it.

IBD writer Terry Jones pointed out that “(a)s many companies have found, California is an awful place to do business.”

Serves them right. Loser democrats never learn.

The Alinskyite Cali liberals love it.

They believe all corps are evil.

California has pretty much the same corporations code adopted as every other state. Republicans are so ignorant and easy to defeat in any debate. :palm:

Really? We have the same tax rate, environment laws, zoning laws etc? Very interesting you believe that. Not a business man?

California employers added 60,400 jobs in December, according to state data, one of the largest single-month gains in the last three years.

That strong job growth lines up with the robust numbers released this month for the U.S. overall. Over the last year, California has added jobs at a rate of 2.9%, faster than the 1.9% growth rate nationwide.

So easy to defeat a Republican.:palm:

Government jobs and illegals don't count.

yes...those damned losers with the worlds 6th largest economy just don't know a darned thing about business!

Exactly. There's a reason so many businesses incorporate there and it's not because they have the same laws as CA

Yes because we all know that no State can help a corporation avoid personal accountability like the State of Delaware can but hey...what's good for corporations is what's good for the country, right?

tell that to Delaware......

Or to south Dakota, texas, Nevada, Netherlands antilles, etc...

Is there a point you'd like to make?

and yet California is thriving. How is that possible without a tax free zone and friendly to business courts and have no revenue stream save renting PO boxes?

Guess what, California does well because it produces and has natural resources. The businesses will come here for the TRILLIONs of dollars whether or not Delaware is free and has some white wig wearing corp minions.

You do business in cali, you have to qualify and get taxed, even with Delaware corp articles.
