Thousands expected at ‘Not My Presidents Day’ rallies Monday

I'm going because he is my President and he doesn't represent my values.

I love this; because the left are now setting the precedent on how to treat all future Presidents.
HEY - If you don't win, just march, protest, and make sure that everyone knows how frustrated you are; just because your side didn't get it's way.

Thanks liberals. :good4u:

Correct. The NMP moniker is kind of silly. These rallies are targeted toward the Orange Buffoon, who lives for positive attention. He's capable of finding it where it doesn't exist.

What the rallies accomplish, is to show the rest of the world that the vast majority of Americans do not support this blathering idiot.

Apparently, the left learned nothing with Reagan. They attacked Reagan instead of putting forth better ideas and they ended up with 8 years of Reagan lol.

There was an element on the right who attacked Obama on every little thing but the difference was the Tea Party: the TP was ideas-oriented instead of sheer opposition because the other guy sucked.

The only thing marches will do for the left is to keep their base energized [assuming they can keep it up for at least two years lol]. But they have zero chance of losing their base and they have zero chance of affecting Trump's people with it.

That leaves the middle. The left needs the middle---the last election demonstrated that. To get them, the left will need more than anger, spittle and Russian conspiracy theories. And you have to assume a fair number of the middle wants to at least give Trump a minute to see if he can get some results.

Personally, I think the left is getting close to alienating the middle with their constant hysteria---if they aren't there already.

They need fresh ideas and fresh leaders more than another march.

And you are correct; because if the left continue behaving, the way they have recently, they're going to push away the people they are going to need so desperately.

They're behaving like spoiled toddlers and it's not winning over those who they hope too.

If a minority managed to get into power a third-rate imitation of a South American dictator, it seems logical for the majority to point out that they didn't vote for him?

So you want others to know YOU personally don't support Donald?

Will that make you feel better?

Are you worried they are thinking less of you?

Oh, we have learned plenty from conservatives and we are expanding on it. At our "huddle" the other night there were over 100 that started out as 10 women, this is a community in Texas! Out of those 100 three are running for local office. There is a lot of enthusiasm.

Good start lol.

Your party has an unresolved issue though. Do democrats double-down with their move to the left or move back to the center?

In electoral politics it's all about the middle. You're going to need them to win. The GOP won by expanding the base under Trump, not by doubling down on doctrinaire comservatism.
