Sweden allows more refugees as a percentage of population than any other developed nation.
That isn't the case here and we are not having the problems Sweden is having...therefore it is fear mongering

That is a fair point, however, it is not to say we won't have problems like them. There is more fear mongering about Trump than immigrants who have in fact posed serious problems for their host countries. Not all, but a few.

Should our borders be more open?

Neither of which dealt w/ the fabrication detailed in the OP. That's part of defending someone; trying to move the goalposts, distract, obfuscate.

I said, "I'll let Trump answer for that" in reference to the 'what happened in Sweden last night' nonsense.

I challenged your premise that Trump was fear mongering. Your OP is an exercise in distraction because it's the lefts 'what could possibly go wrong' attitude that's slightly more relevant to national security than Trump's bloviating.
