Gorsuch attacks Trump, Trump lies about it.

It appears he did not specifically say Trump, as Jarod would have us believe, however, his general statement could include Trump.

"he finds any criticism of a judge's integrity and independence disheartening and demoralizing."

And I believe it does, since he said "any". That said, to suggest he specifically was referring to Trump is not completely truthful.

Do you have a citation for that, or did you just make it up?

Ayotte is the source.

"Judge Gorsuch has made it very clear in all of his discussions with senators, including Senator Blumenthal, that he could not comment on any specific cases and that judicial ethics prevent him from commenting on political matters," she said. "He has also emphasized the importance of an independent judiciary, and while he made clear that he was not referring to any specific case, he said that he finds any criticism of a judge's integrity and independence disheartening and demoralizing." - Ayotte

What is the deal with the conservative's inability to cite sources?

So a citation about what he told Ayotte is proof of what he told others?

Blumenthal has a history of distortion...he was exposed in 2010 as having lied about serving in Vietnam while he was in the Marine Reserve.

No he did not. Fake!

He was not in Vietnam, but unlike the President he was at the very least serving in the United States Military.
Now, lets talk about someone who does have a history of distortion, Donald J. Trump.

It would be nice if Gorsuch uses this to give democrats political cover to vote for him :)

“American liberals have been addicted to the courtroom relying on judges and lawyers rather than elected leaders and the ballot box, as the primary means of effecting their social agenda on everything from gay marriage to assisted suicide to the use of vouchers for private-school education, This overweening addiction to the courtroom as the place to debate social policy is bad for the country and bad for the judiciary.”

Not with Rump claiming he did not say it.

I made no comments that would suggest anything like that. You asked for a citation or whether it had been made up and I provided you with the source. That is all.

Do you still love Gorsuch, he confirms my point about how Trump should not have been attacking the judiciary.

Is rump considering withdrawing the Gorsuch nomination?

Former GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who is helping shepherd Gorsuch's nomination on the Hill said in a statement Thursday Gorsuch has told senators "he finds any criticism of a judge's integrity and independence disheartening and demoralizing."

Was she in the room when Gorsuch said what he did about Trump's comments?
