The two are not mutually exclusive or inclusive. There are those who view AGW as apocalyptic and a product of human sin. Others simply think there are enough naturally occurring phenomena to explain climate change (thermal cycles, solar cycles, the expanding universe, etc).

I think that science gives our temporal lives a special meaning and interest that is generally worth pursuing. Take Da Vinci, for example. One can look at his devotion to God, but, he is remembered through history for his exploration of science, technology, and, of course, his art.

there is an opportunity cost involved. If you dont believe in God you can enjoy yourself unrestrained by religous morality.
 
The problem with Runes incredibly dumb OP are many, but for starters, one can believe in God and reject the so called consensus of scientists who blame it pretty much all on man.

According Rune, believing the earth was round, means you don't believe in God.
