1.2 billion is the most any presidential candidate has spent in an election.

Trump spent 600 million in his campaign.

Just as a reminder. Our political and media class mocked Trump for saying that he did not need a billion to win the presidency.

There had also been no comments from Senator Sanders, Warren, or anyone else whose primary concern is getting money out of politics.
