The Supremacy Clause says otherwise.

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

The states can refuse to obey any federal law they deem as unconstitutional.

I don't know much about you, but when I refer to making automatic weapons, you are aware i'm talking about the sear, right? how closely does the ATF monitor those?

And that is why I specifically said I build my own Semi auto's. I own Class III weapons and yes I know the difference. I am a FFL. You can legally buy a AR full auto kit on the internet legally. It is illegal to install it.
ATF aint got shit to say about 80% finished lowers.
