Democrats Deliver A Loud And Clear Message: Trump Is “Not My President”

It doesn't offend me if people say "he's not my president". People said the same about Obama and they said it about Bush. At the end of the day we go in with our daily lives and they are the President.

Trump is my president and I have very high expectations for him.
I expect him to appoint the best Cabinet in genarations. That should be his strength.
I expect him to pay close attention to and follow the advice closely of the brst team of advisors ever put together.
I expect him to appoint a moderately conservative, young jurist to the Supremes.
I expect him to use his expert skills at deal making to negotiate and or renegotiate treaties and diplomacy, the pen is more powerful than the sword.
I expect him develop a business/ manufacturing enviroment that is conducive to growth.
I expect him to be realistic about enviromental concerns.
I also expect him to remain true to his New York City Liberal self.
I believe the Donald will do all this and more because being famous, being loved and earning a good legacy is even more important to the Donald than to Hillary.

except the Russians picked your next president

Right....they went to Pa., Wis. Ohio and Fla., and voted for TRUMP. I don't remember any leftist saying a thing about Barry Obama going to the middle east on an apology tour and having open relations with the TERRORIST STATE of IRAN....nor did they say anything about the 100s of visits from KNOWN ISLAMIC TERRORIST supporters and the ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD that routinely visited the white house over the past 8 years. Nor hiring self professed COMMUNISTS..like VAN JONES as members of his advisory staff.

And you find that establishing an open communication with one of the world's superpowers to be a failure in foreign diplomatic relations? Really? Why the double standard? The last time I looked the US was engaged in a WAR ON TERROR....not members of the United Nations....especially a member that's on the security council.

I suppose you will bitch about establishing communications with N. Korea, China, Japan, etc. as well? I am still awaiting your proof that RUSSIA stole the election. In reality.....YOU lost because your cohorts were lazy ass apathetic losers that were to sorry to get out and vote. There was 6 million less votes on the Democrat ledger this time around. All you had to do was VOTE. But...its the typical leftist excuse, you are the victim of your own sorry state of being incompetent.

good post!

Fair enough, I agree with that. If people want to spend their time marching in the streets them so be it. To your point yes if they start fvcking with the functioning of our country as a result then agreed it's a problem.
That's a completely different standard that undermining our nations institutions. We have, as citizens, a right to "fuck with the functioning of our country" as long as it's done peaceably. That includes protests and civil disobedience and other protected forms of free speech.

I would agree that that Trump is not someone that I would consider a role model. It's just he will be our president for the next four years and so we need to hope that he does a good job because it will effect all of us if he doesn't or does.
I have been leery about Trump but my decision for my vote in favor of him was purely utilitarian in nature. I never wanted to see that lying calculating cold hearted woman in the WH. Now, What does Trump have going for him? First of all his work ethic, second he is known for surrounding himself with good advisors, and third, he's a fast learner.

Most Americans voted for Hillary Clinton. She is the legitimate president. Trump is an usurper who is going to occupy the office through nothing more than a technicality. He has zero legitimacy to hold that office. The minority cannot rule the majority for long, that is how you get a civil war!

Sometimes, when the stakes are high enough, the people must resort to arms in order to protect their freedom. The only true show of the will of the people is through revolution.

They should make it a problem. Trump is an usurper with no legitimacy, who was appointed undemocratically.

I agree with that to a point but it can be carried to far. We do have to be mindful that it is the institutions and how they were designed to work in our Republic and the limits of power in those offices that is far more important than the temporary leaders who occupy them. We can't permit these kind of sentiments to go so far that they undermine our civil institutions and our Republic.

Sometimes things have been stretched too far. Then it is time for revolution.

Never seen so many protest across the country over the election of a president?!!
This will remain a divided country under Trump too! And by the way, Trump is not my president either!

Mine, either! And I'm keeping it in my sig until he's gone.

The president is the person who most Americans want to be president. Period. Anyone who violates that rule is an undemocratic, fascist usurper with no legitimacy.

A great deal of dead beats are going to have to get off their sorry asses and WORK....The ride on the gravy train with biscuit wheels is just about to come to the end of the line. Make way for the TRUMP EXPRESS. :) Remember the last time the Republicans had control of the white house and both houses of congress? Ever hear of the Great Depression? LMAO Get ready to work or starve, soup lines, kick granny out of her wheel chair with no health care, cut social security, and starve the children.

There....that's enough propaganda to get the commies started. :)

Remember this...

Workfare, form of social welfare program requiring able-bodied adults to work. In 1994 various U.S. states were already experimenting with workfare programs when Pres. Bill Clinton proposed a similar national scheme, including a welfare-payment cutoff after two years, coupled with aggressive programs of job training and retraining. The final bill, passed in 1996, replaced the existing 60-year-old program with block grants to the states, which were to run their own programs. Most recipients were required to work within two years of receiving benefits and were limited to a lifetime maximum of five years on welfare rolls. The law provided for job training and child-care assistance, though in a more limited form than originally proposed, and denied noncitizens access to a variety of services.

I think it's fair to give him a chance even if it's a skeptical chance. There's a lot about him that you can easily doubt and be turned off by but he hasn't served a day in office yet so I just think it's better to give him a chance to lead before you completely turn your back on him or firmly entrenching yourself in division by saying he's not our president.. It would have been the same expectation of people on the right if Hillary would have won. Be skeptical but open to possibility.

If he suddenly reversed everything he talked about during the campaign I'd still have no respect for him because one, I wouldn't believe it, and two, I'd think it was just a hypocritical attempt to whitewash his record. His comments are going to live on in cyberspace forever. He'll be this generation's Macbeth: "even all great Neptune’s ocean" can't wash his nasty words from our collective memory.

Nahhhhhh.....they're (primarily) a bunch o' younger, first-time voters.

All o' you Trumpoids should be familiar with that mind-set. Neither you, nor the Teabaggers, were all-that-much interested in politics.....until we'd elected our first Black President....and, NO one sees that as any kind o' coincidence.

BRING IT ON BIATCH. :D

Just remember to notify your next of kin first.
