Why are white, uneducated voters voting for Trump?

For me being great and being exceptional are two different concepts. I don't believe in American exceptionalism.

I know you're not a Trump supporter but I'd like to know how they can criticize liberals while supporting the very same thing they're criticizing by voting for Trump.

So basically can one be intellectually consistent in saying America is the best country on Earth but has gone through bad periods or certain leaders have caused us not to be the best? I was trying to think if a sports analogy would be appropriate here like the 49ers being the best organization in the NFL but under Jed York's leadership it's now the worst but I don't know if that is analogous.

I do think it's possible to say we're the best but we have slipped (not saying that's the case but one could say that). Because one is at the top now doesn't mean they will always be there. So maybe that's a more nuanced answer. I don't buy the argument that other countries have passed us so if someone is arguing that then are wrong or inconsistent of also still trying to argue America is the best. I still believe we are the world's dominant power.

Actually...there are no free phones.

The program gives app. 8 minutes/day of free cell service. Most providers will give a free flip phone, knowing that many people will have to purchase more minutes.
