Wrong. I have evidence. McCain and Romney. They left voters on the sidelines because they were wishy washy pussies. Good men. But political pussies. Trump doesn't need the establishment. But the establishment needs us. Had Kasich or Bush been nominated many of us would have stayed home. I wanted Cruz. Would have accepted Rubio but he let the democrat party take him down with Gang of Eight. The democrats knew what they were doing co-opting Rubio. They didn't care if immigration reform passed. McCain & Romney aren't "evidence." I know how you feel about Obama, but you have to realize that he was one of the most inspiring political figures on the left & for Democrats since JFK. No comparison. Both McCain and Romney would have beaten Hillary soundly.

And have you forgotten? You weren't one of the "us" re: the Trump movement about 6 months ago. You would have jumped on on board w/ anyone but Hillary. I don't blame you for that; I have had elections like that. But no way would you have stayed home if it was Kasich/Hillary. You think Kasich is a moderate because Dems like him, but he's actually a pretty right-wing guy, and his court would be right-wing. For that reason alone, he'd have your vote.

Interesting. When those on the left vote for any Democrat, it's because the do NOT have principles, and will just vote for anyone with a "D" next to their name.

Name some names that could have defeated Obama in 2008. This is a convenient lie that Trumptards have been leaning on.

You're also admitting that Trumptards stayed home during all of this, thus undercutting the argument that we forced McCain and Romney on them, and that they had to go along with it. Clearly they exercised the option to support Obama.

Same here, but only because our govt is officially a sham. POTUS is impotent, and lost in this election cycle is the single digit approval rating of an inept Congess. Nothing will get done for the foreseeable future.

Hell...I think it was '14 when in Feb, the House announced that nothing would get done in the 75 days they planned to work that year.
