The beauty queen is just one small part of the larger picture, and that is Trump's disdain and contempt for many, many women, especially those who cross him. He was just as nasty about Megyn Kelly, who is not overweight. This is the way he thinks about the majority of the country and the majority of voters, and it boggles my mind that conservative women accept this from him. He doesn't see women as equals of men.
Trump doesn't have actual studied positions on Russia, China, NK etc. He has sound bites and memes. Getting something substantial from him on foreign policy is like getting blood out of a turnip.
