Pence won on style.

I'm 100% right. No one is going to vote for Trump based on Pence debate performance. If either candidate had performed as poorly as Palin did than they can hurt their candidate but it's not decisive.

Palin, as horribly as she performed, hurt McCain, mad she came off as utterly unqualified to the majority of Americans and that did raise concerns about McCains judgement but it didn't really move the needle. Neither did last night.

Yeah, but the media had a serious hate-on for Palin. They loathed her.

the Clintonistas will muddle it up, but the facts are Putin is a far better leader on the world stage -completely outplaying Obama/Clinton despite a weak economy, and a lessor military.
Maybe that came thru at least.
Oh really? He simply walked into his neighbor's country, and took over.

We, on the other hand, took over Iraq and destroyed the entire Mid East for decades to come.

I'd say we win.

Let me add:

Pence argued that "Iraq has been overrun by ISIS." Verdict: False. While parts of Iraq have been ravaged by ISIS, Pence drastically inflates the group's control over the country.

Pence: "Hillary Clinton failed to renegotiate a status of forces agreement." Pence is wrong to suggest Clinton is to blame. The key decisions and discussions took place between the White House itself and Iraqi leaders. We rated this claim Mostly False.

Pence: "They want to expand (Obamacare) into a single-payer program." Clinton and Kaine have proposed a public option — a government-sponsored insurance plan — but they have not proposed single-payer. Pence’s claim is Mostly False.

Pence: "We delivered $400 million in cash as a ransom payment for Americans held by the radical mullahs in Tehran.
The United States owed Iran the money as part of a decades-long financial dispute. This "ransom" line, which we’ve previously heard from Trump, is Mostly False.

Pence said “that’s nonsense” after Kaine claimed Trump was proposing a “deportation force” to “go house to house” and send away millions of immigrants who are here illegally.
Trump did say that, although he has since backed away from it. Actually, Trump...said last November in an interview on MSNBC, “You’re going to have a deportation force, and you’re going to do it humanely.”

Pence implied Clinton was wrong when she cited the fatal shooting of an African-American man by an African-American cop as a case of “implicit,” or unconscious, bias. But research shows African Americans are not immune to this form of bias against members of their own racial group. Pence was wrong when he implied that African Americans can’t be subject to implicit bias of other African Americans.

Pence said, “The Trump Foundation is a private family foundation and they give virtually every cent to charitable causes.” But that’s far from true. There have been several examples of the Donald J. Trump Foundation making expenditures on items and groups that are not charitable causes. And unlike typical family foundations, the Trump Foundation’s money has since 2008 come from others, not from Trump’s own pocket. The Washington Post reported Sept. 10: “In tax records, the last gift from Trump was in 2008. Since then, all of the donations have been other people’s money — an arrangement that experts say is almost unheard of for a family foundation.”

Pence criticized Clinton for supporting “a practice like partial-birth abortion,” adding that “the very idea that a child that is almost born into the world could still have their life taken from them is just anathema to me. ” As we have written before, Clinton has said she’s “open” to restrictions on late-term abortions if there are exceptions for endangerment of the life and health of the mother.
Yes...once you press the Google button, there's a plethora of information. Kaine had his few embellishments too, but nothing like Pence.

you know its false because the DNC told you so.....

Alright.
When networks report election results on a map, they use the "red State / blue State" convention.

BUT !!

Last night, Kaine wore the red tie, and Pence wore the blue tie. Could this because of a party flip-flop? Pence is the liberal? Or at least reciprocal envy?

I'd say we win.
Putin has legitimate concerns in Crimea (Sevastopol). He is finishing a land bridge (Kerch Straight).
That is also significant in that he doesn't need to seize the rest of Ukraine ( which would be a massive fight).

He has also federated Donbas & eastern Ukraine. Meaning he has used that break with Kyiv as creating a buffer
against any further moves by the west regarding the Ukraine.
He's secured multiple fronts to secure Russian interests ( while Victoria Nuland trapaised around Independence Square in Kyiv).

He completely outplayed Obama and the west.

This one jumped out at me lol.

Notice the claim that Hillary is to blame for the fall of Iraq as 'mostly false'. Because the important decisions were made by the Iraqi government and the WH. That's a tacit concession by the Fact Checker that the Obama administration dropped the ball on securing a Status of Forces agreement with the Iraqis.

Apparently, Hillary was a wallflower as Sec State and had no influence on Obama's political decision *to not persuade the Iraqis* on the issue.

In other words, had Pence claimed Obama failed to secure the agreement, the Fact Checker would have been forced to give it a 'mostly true'; but since it wasn't Hillary's decision to make, it gets a 'mostly false'.

Score it for Pence either way.

Excellent pic anatta.

Can you post any of similar resolution of the islands China is building in the South China Sea? They're trying to turn shoals into sovereign territory. Candidly, I think it's a shrewd idea. It may destabilize the region. But it seems to me it breaks the tie in territorial claim conflict.

I haven't seen any high resolution, but you might appreciate this - showing dredges while China denies it all.

Are you purposely ignoring the fact that Iraq didn't want us there, and refused to meet our demands? Why should we occupy Iraq, just because some idiot invaded, leaving the entire region in disarray forever?

Are you suggesting that we have to occupy in perpetuity just to keep the never ending supply of invaders out?

Because that's not a viable plan, and should have been considered before 'Shock And Awe'.

I think the 'conflict' begins only when they try to defend the territory against U.S/U.S allies' ships.

Are we 'occupying' Germany and South Korea because we still have bases there?
