Donald Trump dismissed allegations of impropriety on Monday, saying his foundation's $25,000 donation to Florida's attorney general had nothing to do with her office mulling an investigation into Trump University. The Republican candidate's press secretary confirmed to NBC News that Trump paid a $2,500 fine over the donation to a campaign group linked to AG Pam Bondi.

News of the fine — levied after an ethics group complained that the donation had not been disclosed to tax officials — was first reported by The Washington Post. A Trump Organization spokesman told the Post the candidate reimbursed the foundation for the fine. The newspaper also reported that Trump's foundation listed the donation as intended for a charity with a different — albeit similar — name to Bondi's political group...

The $25,000 donation came from the tax-exempt Donald J. Trump Foundation in 2013 at about the time Bondi's offie was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against Trump University, the Associated Press reported earlier this year. Bondi, who has endorsed Trump, did not open a case against the tycoon, citing insufficient grounds to proceed. The AP's report said Bondi had solicited the donation from Trump's foundation...

Trump's donation, made to a political group called And Justice for All, was in apparent violation of rules surrounding political activities by charities, the AP reported. The Post said Trump's foundation made another error by declaring the donation as being to Kansas charity with a name similar to that of Bondi's political group.

well you don't need Judical Watch to ferret this one out with FOIA requests.

The whole thing was fishy/stinks. Bondi is a loathesome creature in many ways, anything bad to happen to her is well deserved

Why is the media going with Clinton being the corrupt one?

Trump has done as many, if not more corrupt things. . .

Beside the point. Their logo says "Because no one is above the law!"

ya. JW -sorry. they publicize their own findings..
I do not understand what actions they could take here.

How about putting out a press release along the lines of:

Judicial Watch: New Investigations Reveal Trump Made $25,000 Donation to Florida AG in Violation of Charity Rules

IOW, the same thing they do for every Democrat they investigate.

but they have not investigated Bondi/Trump..I took a quick look at the link you provided, and everything there -to my quick review-
is showing things THEY did with FOIA requests..am I missing something?

You're whining about a 25,000 dollar donation that seems was investigated and a fine paid.....Hillary donations amount to millions of dollars and involve
getting special access to high gov. officials....and Bill's getting over 18,000,000 dollars for serving on some board is even more fishy....
25,000 isn't worth the time it takes to type the number....

And that's the point. Why aren't they investigating Trump or any repub like they're investigating Dems?

Trump broke the law and had to pay a fine, not a peep out of JW. If you look at their website it's not just about FOIA requests.

And you're ignoring that nothing Trump does is getting attention from JW, such as his corrupt Trump "University."

Why hasn't JW put in a request for their records?

If you think Trump and his family aren't getting big money for sitting on various boards, you are dumber than I thought. But I guess we'll never know since Trump is too high and mighty to release his tax returns.

what specifically do they cover ( by cliking a box) in terms of thhe Clinton Emails, that they did not have a hand in?

Yes they have other general interests-but in terms of candidates corruption, all I see is result of FOIA.
They did also recently submit an interrogatory for Clinton..so look for that soon.

Judge Sullivan’s opinion ordering Clinton to answer written questions under oath, he wrote:
"The Court is persuaded that Secretary Clinton’s testimony is necessary to enable her to explain on the record the purpose for the creation and operation of the clintonemail.com system for State Department business."
