And Gingrich also suggested that not only should every "internet-based source of terrorism" be shut down. If that's not possible, he called for more drastic action.

"We should destroy them with kinetic power, using various weapons starting with predators and frankly just killing them," he said.

Gingrich was making a last ditch effort to get on the Trump ticket.

Shout something that sounds tough but clearly against the Constitution, without any details and Trump will take notice.

Even them being forced to act a certain way in public has value. When you change someones actions sometimes the mind follows. Like force a lazy person to go to work everyday and he may become industrious or he may slack off but theres still a chance.

Its why routine and other stuff is so important for excercise and other things like that.
 
I don't believe that Gingrich is so stupid, as to think that any of the measures he proposes could be implemented, or even taken seriously.
He is playing down to the Fox audience to rile them up. Fox watchers are stupid enough to believe any of what he said could be constitutional.
He has had a history of saying just this kind of hogwash for effect.
Judging by the response of JPP cons, it works.

We have laws which cause people to act a certain way. It is beyond stupid to say we are going to round up 5 million (or however many Muslims there are in this country) and ask if they support Shria Law. It's retarded. And even if someone did Sharia Law doesn't trump our law. Someone can't get off in court for murder claiming Sharia Law.

I'm having trouble seeing your point. How does this work, when the family is walking through Customs the official asks "are you here to kill us" and they answer "yes" so they're turned back?

Furthermore, for anyone entering the country US law applies so it doesn't matter what they think about Shari'ah law.
