Jeb Bush: Donald Trump's supporters will feel 'betrayed

(CNN)Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush predicted Monday that Donald Trump's supporters will feel "betrayed" when his campaign promises fail to become reality.

"I think people are really going to feel betrayed," Bush told MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace of his former 2016 rival. "There isn't going to be a wall built. And Mexico's not going to pay for it. And there's not going to be a ban on Muslims."

Trump's former rival -- who has said he will not vote for Trump and does not plan to attend the Republican National Convention -- said the presumptive nominee is living in an "alternate universe that he created."

"People are going to be deeply frustrated and the divides will grow in our country," Bush said, in his first public remarks since Trump become the GOP's presumptive nominee.
Bush gave Trump credit in one area: his understanding of the media.
"He's a master at understanding how the media works -- more than anybody I've ever seen in politics," Bush said. "Kudos (to) him for kind of creating the environment and then manipulating the environment."

Actually there won’t be any ‘betrayal,’ because there won’t be a ‘president’ Trump.

Well, Jeb! lol.

This election goes beyond walls and Muslim bans. If Jeb! thinks that's the only reason people are going to vote Trump you can add his name to the long list of people who don't get it.

'nother Never-Trumper.......remember when the Republican candidates expressed outrage over Trump's hesitation to pledge support for the eventual nominee?......obviously the Republicans have already been betrayed......

control the border and there would be no need for a wall.
The "Muslim ban" has already been walked back to a ban of "terrorist countries immigration".

Bush is butt hurt.

even if you control the border there is still need for a wall. The next democrat will just turn of the border control or not implement the law. Cant turn off a wall :)

"the wall" can't be a wall - look at the geography, and it would impact animal migration.
Just use real border controls, pass stuff like Kate's Law, and end sanctuary cities. Tell Mexico to intercept the streaming refugees.

Once the USA is not an attractive target, the mass migrations would stop. and when dangerous illegals are picked up
they are quickly deported/imprisoned

trump has been consitent in saying the wall will only cover 1000 miles using natural terrain to fill in the gaps. Hence they work with geography. Everything you just said can be ignored when the next pro illegal immigrant president takes over.

Given modern tech, is the great wall of trump really necessary??

How about offering that co$t to Mexico?? You pay them a billion a year for 10 years to keep ppl from crossing.. Deduct sums for those that get by..

That should be plenty of time for the politicians to come up w/ something, or not :whome:

and when a democrat takes over all that stops and you pretend to ignore the law again right? This is precisely why I want the wall. All solutions people offer they do because they know that the next pro illegal immigrant president will just ignore. Well you cant executive order away the wall :) have to knock it down and that would make it obvious that you want open borders.
