Trump has paid men on his campaign staff one-third more than women, according to a Globe analysis of payroll data.

Only about 9 percent of his team are minorities.

The Globe analyzed the payroll for April, the most recent month with publicly available data.

The women who work for Trump — who account for about 28 percent of his total staff — made an average of about $4,500 in April, according to the Globe analysis. The men made nearly $6,100, or about 35 percent more. The disparity is slightly greater than the gender pay gap nationally.

Of the 15 highest-paid employees for that month, only two were women.

Hope Hicks — the campaign’s most prominent female employee — did not respond to several requests for comment.

But the episode at Mar-a-Lago that Ms. Brewer Lane described was different: a debasing face-to-face encounter between Trump and a young woman he hardly knew.

"Donald was having a pool party at Mar-a-Lago. There were about 50 models and 30 men. There were girls in the pools, splashing around. For some reason Donald seemed a little smitten with me. He just started talking to me and nobody else.

He suddenly took me by the hand, and he started to show me around the mansion. He asked me if I had a swimsuit with me. I said no. I hadn’t intended to swim. He took me into a room and opened drawers and asked me to put on a swimsuit."

Brook Lee said when she was Miss Universe. she was sitting next to Trump in the audience at the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant when Trump's daughter, Ivanka, was on stage helping to host the event.

She said he turned to her and asked for her opinion of Ivanka's body. "'Don't you think my daughter's hot? She's hot, right?'" Lee recalled him saying.

Ivanka was 16 at the time and Lee thought the comments were "creepy."

odd that the article mentions nothing about how much time they worked........I wonder if the men also put in 35% more hours......or maybe even 36%........

A field organizer accused Trump’s campaign of sexual discrimination, saying that men doing the same jobs as women were paid more — and were also given more responsibility for planning and speaking during campaign events. Trump’s campaign cast the worker, Elizabeth Mae Davidson, as a disgruntled employee.

“My people tell me she did a terrible job,” Trump told The New York Times.

The complaint has been referred to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, according to Davidson’s attorney, Dorothy A. O’Brien. Davidson declined to comment.
