ya i am too. look you have this automated factory it still creates these minimum wage jobs. Some in the factory itself (like security, maintenance, and sanitation), some in the industries serving the non minimum wage people it hires (the IT doods and managers need barbers or whatever), some in the industries that have to provide the raw material for the factory to work (and the truckers that have to transport it)
If you look at the economy as a whole these fully automated factories still create jobs it is just spread over different locations.
and laissez fair capitalism nearly destroyed both capitalism and the free market. You want more Trusts and Monopoly Capitalism? You a Mitt Romney type?Free markets have made the U.S. the world's economic leader. You want more socialism? You a Bernie Sanders type?
why not make all inner cities tax free zones for any industrial development?.......Well then why not give a tax break to the business owner for the difference when they hire a full time employee at $15/hour and eliminate the barrier?
we all know there are other pro-capitalist parties besides the GOP......and we all know the Democrats aren't one of them.........Are you truly claiming that the GOP is the only pro capitalist party?
Yet our economy has declined to a state where the stereotype of the minimum wage worker being the young person living with their parents is no longer the reality. The median person making minimum wage now is a 30 year old single mom.

Strawman!
Why doesn't he build a hotel there? It is very reasonable real estate and if he is magic, why can't he make Detroit great, again? Start there, Trump and then I will be a believer.
If by that you mean eliminate import/export duties sure...why limit it to inner cities? That would probably just create brownfield exploitation situation in poor neighborhoods. Why not permit it in all the one horse small towns where the local factories have died due to globalization as well? I wouldn't have problems with that as long as certain criteria are met. Those being that the applicable local environmental and labor standards are abided by and that the companies receiving such tax exemptions assume the full costs of their operations so they can't hold the tax payers hostage, I'd be ok with that.why not make all inner cities tax free zones for any industrial development?.......

You're wrong Wacko. That's another one of those modern GOP "If I say something often enough it becomes true" talking points. The minimum wage was created to provide a labor floor for remuneration that provided a minimum standard of living that provided for the basic necessities of life and to provide stability to the economy. At least that was the stated reasoning for the creation of the minimum wage by the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938.
it's not taxes ( effective corp. taxes are not that high) it's profits -mostly cheap labornobody "allowed" industries to go over seas......nobody can stop them.......but they wouldn't have gone if corporate taxes hadn't been some of the highest in the world and we all know who we can thank for higher taxes........
About time you saw anaata for what he really is.
Still supporting O'Malley huh anaata?
that's part.the other is drug wars in central America ..and plain good ole' Fashioned escape from poverty. They should. They are the fundamental cause for the illegal immigration problem. A ready source of cheap unskilled labor. You eliminate the demand and the supply goes away. Economics 101.
No, he's saying an increase in the minimum wage would put more young black men out of work. There's little evidence to support his assertion and lots of evidence to the contrary. That increasing the minimum wage would act as an economic stimulus and would create more jobs by putting more money in circulation.
oh look. there is some dog shit stuck on my shoes...
get a life Rune..and quit dogging me around when you have nothing to say.I mentioned O'Malley as urban policy is that "support"?
Supply side nonsense. Studies and historical evidence have shown that the exact opposite occurs. More money is put into circulation and more jobs are created.
LMFAO.
Free markets have made China the worlds economic leader.
