I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned my dislike of Trump on here for a while now and how I don't like him or agree with him. I also think he has racists tendencies and appeals to racists and the bad sides of many people, but that doesn't mean Trump 2016 is an example of intimidation worthy of counseling and action in my opinion. Free speech does not mean only speech you agree with.

Yes I know, but you can feel something without then using those feelings to silence free speech. Just as I can't decide how someone should feel they can't decide what my free speech should be. Do you agree?

You help perpetuate it, though. We do have some racists on the board - but no one who sees as much color in the world as you do. You're obsessed w/ what color we all are.

They believe that the words written in chalk violate their safe space. There is no such thing as a place where free speech is barred due to emotional safety. The students chose to let a name influence their stability. Perhaps the real issue is not what was written in chalk but of their ability to handle freedom which does not coddle to their beliefs.
 
FYI I do not like Trump and will never vote for him, but I will defend someone's ability to support him without fear of oppression.
