7 to 1 scotus says no to abortion restrictions

There is nothing in the constitution about abortion and so, by the tenth amendment, it is entirely a state issue. States need to say that.

you don't get to own wombs evil fuck

your god didnt think you were responsible enough to own one

That lone doctor, working in one clinic, cannot meet the need for approximately 10,000 abortions in Louisiana, a need that was previously met by six physicians in five clinics across the state."

because we really, really NEED to kill 10,000 unborn children in Louisiana......

Abortion-rights groups said that if the admitting privilege rule were enforced, "the state of Louisiana will be left with a single abortion provider. That lone doctor, working in one clinic, cannot meet the need for approximately 10,000 abortions in Louisiana, a need that was previously met by six physicians in five clinics across the state."

sound and reality based. I'm liking this court more and more. :good4u:

if we didn't fight it you would do it huh asshole

we will never stop fighting your stupid

so you will never get your wish

There was no support whatsoever for these new requirements from anybody in the medical community. Clearly the 30 mile limit was at least 10 steps too far. In a state as large as Texas it is way too easy to go over 30 miles without seeing a hospital.

One can easily see that this law was made to simply shut down clinics, when even the conservatives on the SCOTUS are voting against you... I mean dang. I'm surprised it wasn't 8-0.

I suspect that the Texas law will also be turned down.

no i would not do it. I believe women should have the right to have abortions. I think there is even a moral argument you could make that you could abort a baby after birth for a short window

i agree..

abortion being outlawed has been a leftist boogey man for 30+ years. It's never going to happen

In an ideal world abortion would a thing of the past, unfortunately it is still necessary. We have never had a similar debate over here, it has always been considered the lesser of two evils.
