Trump - Hillary Debates

Just imaging what they will be like. Trump has shown he will go scorched earth and hold nothing back. And the Clinton's play hardball.

You know if Hillary brings up the War on Women (although interesting argument to throw against a guy who basically has been a Democrat up until now) Trump is liable to bring up Bill and all hell will break loose.

America, F Yeah!
No...it won't be like that. I mean you're probably right that Trump will go scorched earth but that's not the Clinton's modus operandi. They usually let surrogates due their attacks for them while making a public face of taking the high road.

Last night was one of the ugliest debates I've ever seen.

Trump is a loose cannon, and he definitely has an issue when it comes to women. I'm really cringing thinking about how this campaign is going to go.
He sure does have a good eye for beautiful women. I'll give him that.

From a political perspective as a Republican I was depressed after last night's debate. Trump's asked a question and his response is to talk about poll numbers, then his d*ck and then all military personnel will follow his orders to torture because he's such a great leader.

There are definitely things I like about Rubio and I think he has a bright future but any chance he had left he lost last night. He made himself look bad.

I'm just not a Cruz guy and his style of conservatism is way too conservative to get elected nationally imo.

I thought it was Kasich's best debate last night but VP is probably his ceiling.
The problem with Rubio is he's bought and he couldn't lead a duck to water. Cruz is a dick and is just unlikable. Not even his own kids seem to like him but he's not as clueless about leadership as Rubio is.

I agree that Kasich won last nights debate but Kasich has a message problem. I don't think he's running for VP though. At least not Trump, Rubio or Cruz's VP. I think Kasich is running for the next election cycle.

The problem Kasich has is his adult, pragmatic approach doesn't sell in the South where he's considered a RINO.

Hillary obviously has a long record of questionable or controversial actions and you know Trump will not be afraid to hit on any/all of them. Of course Trump's record is far from clean itself so she could go right back at him. But how far would she be willing to go if she claims to be the adult in the room?
She sure does and almost all of them were pulled out of the ass of the GOP's imagination. There's nothing that makes me roll my eyes than the GOP attacks on HC which are generally just throwing red meat to their partisan supporters and are almost virtually lacking in any merit. It's the same tired old, without merit, bullshit they did to Bill.

Hillary has an important decision to make. Get down in the gutter w/ Trump - or try to do what Kasich did last night, and be that adult in the room?

The latter is very dangerous. I really don't think she can just let herself get hammered by Trump without fighting back in kind. But at the same time, you lose your claim to the high road by doing so, and no one does "that level" as well as Trump. Rubio is trying it right now, and it's not working.

What a crazy year it's going to be.
Oh she'll do the later and let her rapid response team take care of attacking Trump. I remember all the inane ad hom attacks on Bill when he ran in 92 in how the GOP would attack Bill. Bill wouldn't say shit but let his rapid response team counter attack and then the GOP partisans would scream and holler foul! How dare he attack us back. He's supposed to just lay there and just take it!

HRC will not be able to escape her past. Nor her present.
You mean her GOP propaganda make believe past and present? LOL LOL LOL

It amazes me how you guys eat that shit up and then try to insult other peoples intelligence by repeating that stupid bullshit like we're not capable of detecting partisan hackery when we see it.

They're bringing it up, as well as his business failures.

Trump U. is getting the most play. I don't know how anyone can hear that story and not realize they're being conned.
His supporters could care less. That's not important to them. Why don't people get this?

No she won't. But you know if a bear is chasing you it's not that you have to be fast to escape you just have to be faster than the person or people you're with? Same thing here. You bring up someone with Donald's past and Hillary can (try to) use it to neutralize her own.
You guys are just seriously bullshitting yourself and making the same fucking mistake you did in underestimating Trump.

2/3rd or more of the electorate could give a shit less abut the GOP driven partisan propaganda attacks on her.

But go ahead...underestimate her. Vegas isn't. That's why they're giving her 75% odds of winning the General against Trump...her odds are even better if she faces one of the other GOP candidates. Vegas book makers could give a shit less who wins. They just want to make money. That's probably why they do a far better job of predicting winners than the polls do.

I don't see her doing that, she is too shrewd, she will focus on the issues and show him to be be the empty suit he is when it comes to policy.
Not completely. She'll take the high road in any face to face debate or in any public comment and let her surrogates do the attacking.

One of the reason why the Clintons is so virulently hated by the GOP is because their rapid response system was so effecting at countering the GOP slime ball machine. They didn't take the high road. They gave as good as they got. The just had others doing it for them.

You think she's going to sit there and take it when Trump unloads on her? I guess time will tell but I don't see it. She's going to try and fight back.
I don't think she'll stoop to Trumps level like Cruz and Rubio...that stupid on their part. It's bad political strategy. It smacks of desperation.

Hillary will the general election campaign with a 40 to 60 EV advantage on Trump. She doesn't need to stoop to that level. What she needs to do is have a coherent message and be disciplined about staying on message. Trumps attacks are a two edges sword for him.

Wow, so partisan my man. You're no different than the people you are trying to mock. I NEVER said Trump would beat Hillary in a general. NEVER. I have said Rubio and Kasich would and the polls today back me up (although national polls this far out don't mean much).

And you must not pay much attention to Bernie voters because they consistently bring up issues about Hillary's trust worthiness. And Bernie voters are about opposite of the GOP base.

I've been spending the greater part of today, reading all of the anti-Trump comments on JPP and Facebook and I have a question.
Are his detractors attempting to convince others or themselves?? :dunno:

I can't get in their heads but they all follow the same script: Trumps followers are stupid, racist and the usual stuff. As if voting for Obama twice or voting for Hillary or an establishment republican isn't stupid lol. I guess they really don't get it.

It's clear the establishment doesn't because they sent Romney out as an attack dog. That's it, send Mr. Establishment Republican himself out to damage Trump. I was like 'really?' Talk about throwing gasoline on the fire. Apart from the fact these people knowing nothing about how to win an election.

The only people who trust Hillary are Hillary supporters. They're no different than Trump supporters. Trump could flip-off Marco Rubio on the debate stage and it won't budge the needle; someone could find video evidence of Hillary promising a foreign government something if they give money to the Clinton Foundation and it's the same ditto---it won't matter to Hillary supporters.

In my own social media experience, I'm seeing some overlap with Trump and Bernie supporters. In fact, Bernie's people 'get it' about Trump supporters and visa versa more so then the establishment does. Which is kind of natural since they're both riding the same anti-establishment wave.

At any rate, I can see some Bernie supporters defecting for the Trump camp, especially, if they feel like they got screwed in the primary.

You might not like Mrs Clinton, but she is not mad. Trump is, barking mad. and totally dishonest with it. What baffles people outside is what is wrong with so many Americans. It's the effect of not having a proper NHS, I suppose.

Nope.
Just wishful thinking.

You gotta remember that Trump was facing six hostile opponents. Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Kelly, Wallace and Beier. They were all going after him. Put anybody in that situation and you'd likely get a similar response.

Trump was fine as long as the questions were about policy. But when Cruz and Rubio started attacking him in rapid fire with all those personal questions, all that SLANDER that Mitt Romney smeared a few hours ago, he fought back. What would you do?

Well you grew up under the wing of the Welsh NHS and look how you turned

out.
