The data clearly shows that far right wing candidates to extremely well with working class white males but they only represent less than 35% of the voting public and the data clearly shows as well that these far right wing candidates are alienating virtually every demographic except white working class males. The electoral calculus simply isn't there for them to win.

Can a more mainstream GOP candidate defeat Hillary assuming she is nominated? The data shows clearly that she is beatable and that against an establishment GOP candidate it would probably be a very close election.

IMO Trump would help Hillary by debating her. Like it or hate it, she has way more political experience on the issues and would clean his clock on them. And once Trump defaulted to his usual misogynistic insults, he get support for her that she possibly didn't have before. I don't see Hillary coming out on the wrong side of this no matter how you slice it.
