shucks, LT.....if you want to get pissed at people killing people in the Middle East, get pissed at Muslim terrorists.........and perhaps you didn't notice.....if they were pissed at the US for killing people in the ME, what the fuck are they doing in Paris, killing Frenchmen.......now, back to the question.......does Obama want to win........

Did I say I'm pissed?

France is part of the bombing campaign, in case you didn't know, so that's why they killed French people and other "infidels" in Paris...I'm sure our turn will come. So far we've been lucky.

What Obama wants to do is immaterial.

From "Mission Accomplished" to "ISIS is contained" we have been unable to win.

It's time to leave.

I am afraid that ship has sailed. ISIS is uniquely evil, so much so that AQ hates them as well. The only course now is to be totally resolute and wipe them off the face of the Earth. Frankly I can't ever see Shia and Sunni living together in peace in Iraq for a long time in the future. Bush and Blair stirred up the hornet's nest in the first place but the West has absolutely no option left but to clear up the mess they started. Now that Russia and France are totally committed I can't see Raqqa lasting much longer, the towns and cities of Syria and Iraq still in ISIS hands are now finally being conquered. Surely anybody could see that ISIS have been intent on capturing all of the Middle East, the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa. They cannot be appeased, persuaded or cajoled.

France has its own unique problems with Muslims, ranging from Mali, Chad to Algeria and Tunisia. I know that you have a short memory but do you remember the 2005 riots in Paris? There is a huge amount of resentment in France, especially in the poor tenements where the French have consigned all the poor and disaffected young Muslims. It is a fertile breeding ground for radical preachers to do their worst.
