I just wonder why... I don't see how the President of the University is at fault when two students say they were treated to racial epithets and some idiot draws a swastika in poop. Was the right person punished? How will this change how people act at Mizzou?
 
Although I would resign too if somebody were seriously starving themselves until I did. Nothing is worth that kid's life, however misguided his actions might be.

Probably. But really. If I had been a Governor, a Senator and now a President of a University I'd be a bit magnanimous about it. They want me gone, so be it.

You all seem to think it is just the two incidents, and would you send your children to a campus where they were insulted and harassed because they were black, female or gay? Isn't the president responsible for what occurs on campus?
