7,000,000 BOOM!

son, usurping the liberty and personal responsibility of the individual is never good....it is like fashioning a chain out of rusted links, you are impressed that you have so many links in your chain but your chain is weak and worthless....what obama and obama care has succeeded in doing is further weakening a nation by fundamentally altering the relationship between govt and the individual....we are all living on the plantation now son.....

See! Even if it meets every expectation and improves the nations healthcare system they will attack and go to undefinable roots like "it usurps personal responsibility".

If the same healthcare plan was successfully passed by a Republican, (can you say Romney) they would be rooting it on and on. Heck they nominated someone who proposed basically the same deal.

Your sarcasm detector is broken, buy a new one.

Sarcasm is very difficult to detect in written word, especially when on a political discussion board where people make outlandish claims with full earnest belief every day.

son, have i ever debated the expectation of obama care or remotely implied that should obama sign up ALL of the uninsured then i would support the law....the law is an affront to liberty and our constitutional republic....roberts acted out of fear and literally rewrote the law and still it would not pass any honest application of the constitution, because it requires one to believe that our founding fathers envisioned a federal govt that could compel the individual to behave in any manner they desire so long as the stick employed is called a tax....why you and your ilk seek to institutionalize dependence and of course the flip side of that coin subservience is a mystery only to those who fail or are unwilling to see the left for who and what they are.....a cabal of communists, in love with a fascist, intellectually corrupt, morally dysfunctional and stuck on stupid.....

:rofl2:

Predictions gone bad...

Whats so funny was that the administration originally predicted 7,000,000, then when the web site did not work correctly they revised it to 6,000,000. The Republicans and Birther groups exclaimed that 6,000,000 was impossible, it would never work...... Blah, blah, blah.....

They fixed the website and BAM they beat the original unrevised prediction!

This does not account for all of the others like me, who were previously precluded from having private insurance and now have it.

This does not account for all of the others who had substandard insurance and now have better policies than they used to, like my friend whose wife got pregnant and then found out she did not have maternity coverage. (She has it now)

Public opinion is turning also... people are coming around now that they see Obamacare in action.

And predictably, crybaby Righties have now moved the goalposts and are whining about how many have and have not paid.

Lets pretend that Obamacare turns out to be the best thing ever, (It wont, it has flaws) lets pretend so many sign up and so many get healthcare that it leads to a huge decrease in sickness and insurance rates drop dramatically, eventually everyone is insured and we turn out to have the most amazing healthcare system in the world.... Just pretend!

How many righties do you think would acknowledge it?

If that happened, you'd see a stampede of Righties attempting to rewrite history and claiming it was their perseverance in the face of fawning Liberals that brought about the changes required to turn ObamaCare into a success.

So in your loopy world, Sarah Pahlin and Ted Cruz speak for all Conservatives? Can we conservatives then declare that Maxine Waters and Carl Levin speak for all Liberals?

I never said they did. But I will point out that Waters nor Levin ever had the party's nomination for vice president and never were as popular in the Democratic party as Palin was in the Republican party.

In 20 years there will not be a single polititian who will admit to haveing opposed Obamacare, much like they do regarding Medicare now.

It never takes long for low information leftist dunces to start the name calling.

But let me clarify something for you; the Obamacare and State Obamacare websites will push you into Medicare programs if you do not meet certain income hurdles. That is how they attempt to pull of their magical claims that he program will not add to he deficit. But that too is a lie gullible twits like you fell for.

Most who have signed up are either low income individuals who will be subsidized greatly or pushed into Medicare. Most of the others are individuals with pre-existing conditions who can now pay a smaller premium and will probably cost vastly more than insurers will be ble to recover.

So what does all of the above mean? That this program was built upon a lie and that the actual cost to the American rather will probably be in the trillions. And the reality will be hat Americans will be no healthier, our Government more in debt and our medical care system in chaos.

Irony of ironies...Defective Truth is whining about OTHERS and their name calling...

ROTFLMAO!!

...dumbass

...if you had a little more intelligence and curiosity beyond a lemming...

...you gullible hyper partisan twit.

...partisan dunces like you...

Physician...HEAL THYSELF.

that was my point in 118, and the buffoon didn't get it then, either.

TD seems like he WORKS at being stupid.

I do sometimes suspect he is a liberal posing to try to make the Conservatives appear stupid. He walks the line and I cant really decide if he is one of them or a parody of them.

f you don’t [stop Medicare] and I don’t do it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America when men were free.”

Who said this in 1961?

Does this sound a lot like the anti Obamacare rants?
