I think I asked you this about three times now.

Is this about an actual secession or the threat of a secession?

And when you kept telling me that nobody in the country wants to secede, I kept telling you that the percentage that do not want to isn't the issue, it's the fact that the government wont allow a vote on it without legal proceedings to try and stop it. I also pointed it out to you that the government illegally tried to stop a state from enforcing it's own immigration laws as an example of how the government does what it pleases while disregarding the constitution.

1) There usually has to be a demand for something to be put on the ballot. Most politicians aren't going to say 'even though none of my constituents have called for it I'm going to create a ballot measure for our state to secede.' Or like in California you have to create the measure and get enough signatures to have it appear on the ballot.

2) So you are saying the federal government would bring in the lawyers before a secession measure would be allowed on a ballot to have it removed? Have they done this before? Has a state tried to create a secession ballot measure?

There are many states that have put secession measures within their houses but to my knowledge none of them have called for a vote or set a date for a vote which is why the fed has ignored them to date.

The only secession measure to be on a ballot is the county in Colorado to secede from the state and form the 51st state. It was defeated.

Petitions to secede from the Union by eight states that reached the 25,000 signature requirements have been denied by the White House.

Texas has the most signatures, and in the denial letter the government sited Texas vs White as one of the grounds it based its denial upon.

There are no ballot measures going forward on secession in any state that I know of at this time.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that. But even forming a new state isn't seceding from the Union which is what I think PR wants.

I'm leaving America because it stinks and it stinks because you and your associates made it that way. You are supposed to be the republican alternative and what have you and your party done for the country except play a back and forth game of catch with liberal democrats and nothing else. Every time your fraud party gets into power, it starts doing the exact same things as the other member of your social club does when they exit power and neither one of you ever loses total power because the agreement between both of you is that the loser always has enough meat left on the carcass to make sure they get their cut as the rules of the game.

As far as you personally are concerned, your utter fascination with liberals and your beliefs that they are the know all's and tell all's of society as you gaze at them starry eyed at their every word with your every desire to find solutions among the same people who created all the problems in the first place with your assistance is very telling indeed.
