Ever noticed that lefties like to lecture the world about the predominantly liberal worldview of creative artists and intellectuals...until one of 'em is outed as a child molester?

Then politics suddenly don't matter.

I doubt it has anything to with his being liberal. It has to do with she grew up watching (and enjoying) his movies.

Sometimes when we look up to someone, they turn out to not be who we expected them to be. It is hard to grasp/accept/cope with.

your a sociopath so what would you know about human emotion super

Yeah, that's stupid. It has nothing to do with his politics. It's because I have always loved his films, they were always my favorites. I didn't feel that way about Polanski or Strauss-Kahn, or anyone actually. I didn't want to believe it because I really can't enjoy his films anymore, I am sure now I will view them very differently. But I faced facts. You have to.

Apparently I was right Desh. Anything to add now?

how does that make you not a sociopath?

You said I didn't know anything about human emotion after I posted my response. Turns out, I called it perfectly.

Now... have you taken your meds yet?

Or are you going to spend the rest of the day spewing forth your hatred for the world?

Here is a 1976 People profile of Allen. Check this out:

He goes on: "I'm open-minded about sex. I'm not above reproach; if anything, I'm below reproach. I mean, if I was caught in a love nest with 15 12-year-old girls tomorrow, people would think, yeah, I always knew that about him." Allen pauses. "Nothing I could come up with would surprise anyone," he ventures helplessly. "I admit to it all."

Do you believe that? This really shows what was acceptable in the 70's. You just couldn't get away making a "joke" like that now, thank god.

In retrospect, let's face it, this wasn't a joke it was a confession.

Total slime. I think someone in the media should repost that for all his defenders to read.

A 'love nest' with 12 year olds? Seriously... fucking end him.

Post #114 for mine, 115 for yours, 118 for Darlas

So what will you lie about now Desh?

Well if you are going to look at the '70s how about Darla's heros Jean Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir who petitioned the French Parliament in 1977 to get sexual relations under the age of fifteen decriminalised n France? Sartre was a paedophile and de Beauvoir, to grab his attention, would supply him with under age girls.
