Your problem is you think it was 'homosexuality' that he was referring to when he used the word morph. But the question asked of him is 'what is sinful'... SIN is what was morphing. Or do you think he meant homosexuality also morphed into drunkenness and sleeping with a lot of women etc...???
Do you think he meant that if you commit one sin you will automatically commit all of them? Or do you think he meant that if you sin in one fashion, you are more likely to keep sinning in other fashions as well?

Because to a fundamentalist, one sin leads to another... not necessarily ALL others, which is where I think you are going off track. You got hung up on the order in which he stated the sins. Had he started the same way and then put 'promiscuity' or 'drunkenness' or 'murderous' would you have thought he was saying homosexuality would lead to any of those?
That's why I added the "Remember, he's a fundamentalist" part.
So, he does believe one sins "leads" to another, thank you.
You don't have to twist yourself into knots. What he said was bigoted toward Gays. If he said, "I like pussy better than man ass." that would have not been bigoted. What he said was judging other people. Its not for me is one thing, its bad is another.

Yes, a fundamentalist does believe one sin will lead to another. That does not mean that any one sin will lead to any other particular sin. Just that it will lead to more sin.
YOU simply want to believe the worst so that you can belittle and mock him for his beliefs that you wish to prescribe to him. That says far more about your character than his.

Yes, and I remember agreeing with people's right to boycott and radio stations' right to organize and not play. And I am most certainly in agreement with A&E's right to suspend Phil. I really wish they'd suspend Mrs. Kay though...she gets irritating sometimes.
But you are correct in that these two situations are very similar.
