Obama's remarkable confession

He's absolutely right. It's not a condemnation of Obamacare, however, it's a condemnation of the government bidding process that favors substandard contractors over well qualified ones, overpriced and antiquated equipment from favored suppliers, and poor oversight. Incredibly, all of these are at the forefront of Obamacare but if the system had allowed the government to select a systems design ala' Amazon we wouldn't be where we are today.

Yaaay, our healthcare and the safety of our information is now enforced by the lowest bidder and a company who can't deliver a decent website for hundreds of millions...

LOL. Your "it doesn't say anything about Obamacare" makes me laugh.

I marvel at the massive undertaking. Who else ever attempts to launch something this massive. There were major problems, there will be major problems but the fact that this is a start to get healthcare reformed in this country is long overdue.

It is sad the American taxpayers didn't fight for single payer, polls showed they wanted it, but the politicians don't, so we got the Affordable Care Act and it isn't perfect, but it corrects a lot of problems.

He follows your/this comment by "yay, our government employs the lowest bidder" as if the left wanted it to be the lowest bidder.

We are in a time where we have to wonder how much power is too much and will history repeat itself. Generally the Right jumps the gun and nearly anything that fixes a long term problem they see as "control" instead of a fix to a long term problem. The big question is does the Right need to grow up and understand that Obama isn't Hitler? Or do we need to grow up and understand that certain aspects in government can be manipulated too easily by congress and shouldn't be at their bias hands.

These bone heads that think healthcare is just to buy votes are the biggest joke in history. But this health insurance was intended to be single payer which would work better, but imagine what would happen if the government would have shut down like it did this year. It was never meant to be what it is today. The game of sabotage is deep.

But if you are that person that thinks in this day and age where our factory jobs are laying off people like crazy because of NAFTA and you think that these laid off workers are "lazy" and don't deserve health coverage you are the dumbest person in America. You have no clue what is happening in this Country. You probably haven't even heard of the TPP because you are so party focused you don't care what the other parties say. EDUCATE YOURSELF AND STOP FIGHTING FOR THE END OF AMERICA.

The ACA was a gift to the insurance industry. It was not a reform except for the pre-existing condition clause. The rest is a roadmap to ruin by design. The goal is a populace begging for a single payer system.
Nudge nudge!

I sense a false premise here that once the website is fixed, all the problems of Obamacare will be gone.

Not so. This is just like watching the previews before the feature film begins.

how was it forced to the lowest bidder damo?

think about that for a minute?

I find it hard to believe that the lowest bidder was hundreds of millions of dollars......
Liberalism is so well entrenched now that I believe that they gave the bidding contract to a Liberal run Company that has a history of donating to the Democrats. Let's say there was contract bidding for CNN or FOX to produce a Documentary on how the Government functions, no matter what the bid was, they would pick their buddies at CNN even if Fox outbid CNN, and if challenged by The House, they would pull a Fast and Furious or a Benghazi and not produce the bidding records.

The Liberals run Hollywood the same way, they promote Liberal actors over Conservative actors, in some cases regardless of talent, etc. I have watched the relatively new hit series "Nashville", which I like, but now I believe that Hollywood is getting involved with it, so they will eventually ruin it with their Liberal control slant, they always do, they give US programs that they want US to see, not what we want to see. Liberalism is like a Cancer now in the USA and everyone knows how to treat a Cancer.

LOL. I'm pretty sure that that one was a gimme to the company who failed to create a long gun database for Canada, whose owner was a friend of Michelle's. Doesn't hurt to know people.

Should have hired Google and simply did it right. Red tape is placed by the Executive authority, he has no qualms just writing up Executive orders to change his extra special law when it looks like the results will harm him politically... I can't see how he would have an issue cutting some of the red tape in his own administration when he needed something that could actually work positively for him politically. He seems short-sighted on that front, pushing off dates, etc. to stop the bleeding rather than doing it right the first time.

There are many other things it addresses, hospital care, Medicare fraud, and other things too numerous to mention here.

Your ignorance is so well entrenched that you wouldn't know what happened no matter what it was!

It's still a bill written by an industry lobbyist that did nothing to eliminate the problem which is the way that health care is paid for by the health insurance industry, and by leaving that huge costly privately run profit driven bureaucracy in place, the industry was able to continue their profit seeking even if under slightly different terms!
