Do you even understand 'American Exceptionalism" as used in foreign policy?

we are dragging ourselves over a small principle into a larger regional war without an endgame (term: as it's used in chess).

Someone said "It's a strike in search of a strategy" - and we will find the larger strategy to make it fit our strike(s).

Doing nothing IS an option, and it doesn't mean we green lights for any other reasons.

Hopefully we aren't slaves, to our own preconceptions. But I think we are.

That's domestic policy, not foreign policy - i do agree the Repubs Congress are "obstructionists".

Now look at the warhawks whom have morphed out of the Dem party - even "Mr anti-war" himself Sec. of State John Kerry.

Hillary Clinton/Susan Rice/Smantha Powers - and now Nancy Pelosi whom will Whip this authorization vote.

All the same as McCain/Graham et all

If you can't see getting out is much more difficult then getting in - I can't help you. Iran was mentioned numerous times..what will we do there?

Isn't a large part of this setting up for that? (nuclear weaponization?)

Isn't this a regional war? what happens next? If you can't say for sure NOTHING HAPPENS NEXT, you are opening the idea up to the US engagement -in whatever fashion -into anothe ME war.
