He's not a racist. He is quite simply, completely, 100% racially clueless, and very paternalistic about it. Of course that is just my opinion.

Yes, this has been very enlightening. Desh outed herself as completely insane. BAC is consumed with hate towards anyone who dares say that there was reasonable doubt to warrant an acquittal. You call out others as being smug, while talking down to us at the same time from your enlightened perch.

I have had many, many a fruitless argument with Onceler over SS privatization...

I mean, the fact that he just continues to drill it when so many right-wingers have long given up on it as a fruitless fringe issue that gets them nowhere.

The point was that Trayvon Martin is this generation Emett Till, even though the circumstances of the Till case are far more brutal, the fact is that young black men are targets because of the color of their skin.

Emmett Till was less than 3 years younger than Martin, who had just turned 17.

Race was at the core of BOTH cases.

Exactly. And that is why BAC says, you would have supported the Till verdict. He doesn't mean you would have done that today...he means that given your attitudes today, about Martin, in contemporary America, 50 years ago, you would have been that much moreso, and that would have put you on the side of those who let Till's murderers go free.

I mean, this ain't rocket science guys. Unless...I really am the genius some tell me I am? I thought it was just a line? Does anyone know? Is it really true?
