well, I was a bit worried because if you look at womens views on guns, and at being manly and shooting thugs, etc, usually they wont be very receptive to zimmermans heroic actions.

However I am a little more at ease now after reading this article:
The jury panel, chosen Thursday, is a "slam dunk" for the defense, said Jose Baez, a Florida defense attorney who was lead defense counsel on the Casey Anthony case. The Florida mother was acquitted in 2011 of killing her young daughter, Caylee.
"I think the defense clearly won the day on this one," Baez said. "Any way you slice and dice it, this is a defense jury."

"That tells you these jurors gave answers to these prosecutors they clearly had trouble with," Baez said.

No, my friend, you should be worrying. Anthony got off not because of Baez, who was an incompetent windbag. She got off because as bad as Baez was, he wasn't nearly as fucked up as the prosecution.

Oh. And the judge just ruled that the prosecution could use words like "wannabe cop", "vigilante", and the like regarding Zimmy. And allowed the prosecution witness's testimony on the screams, but apparently not the defense testimony (I still need to check on the defense)
