There was NOTHING physically indicating it was not a real handgun...no bright colored barrel tip etc.

Normal everyday moms and dads who took their kids to a public playground should not be required to be experts in spotting weapon authenticity. They had NO WAY of knowing it wasn't a real handgun. They were terrorized.
