Another Day-Another child falls thanks to gun nuts selfish refusal to compromise.

I love the pinheads idiotic posts and homo giving him thanks......don't it just tell you all you know about these guys.....

all those words and not a lucid sentence between them.......lmao....

Well....I was good till he went to the "ban guns" thing....I'm all for background checks, even registration...but not for banning.

So back to the OP. Has anyone come up with what legislation would have stopped this tragedy from happening?

In the opening it was clearly stated that the child was shot because of a refusal to compromise. What compromise was refused that would have helped this at all?

You might have missed it; be we actually had liberals come on here, in a different thread, and state that Extended Back Ground Checks might have discovered if families similar to this have the habit of leaving firearms laying around, where children can get them. :palm:

Actually... as heartless as this may sound, I think that the children of gun nuts grabbing their folks' guns and shooting their siblings is a cloud with a silver lining. The average potential across the gene pool goes up a little bit with each one of these incidents.

LOL, so everyone who owns a gun is a gun nut?

Yeah....I disagree with that too. When I think of gun nuts, I think of people who are so paranoid that they feel that home invasions are such an issue that they feel they need to keel a loaded pistol at the ready at all times, people who feel so scared that they feel the need to carry in public, and those that feel that any ideas are a precursors to rounding up weapons in some kind of Communist Conspiracy.

Oh yeah....and those that are itching for armed rebellion against this country.

I am a gun owner...I keep my guns safely tucked away in a secure gun safe which I have bolted to the floor. The only time I take them out is when I am going to the sportsman's club, or to go hunting.

no...not everyone. I personally think that any parent who is stupid enough to give a five year old a deadly weapon as a birthday present and then leave him unsupervised while he kills his baby sister with it should probably do humanity a big favor and not pop out any MORE little morons.

Yeah....yet another good example of gun nuttery. I blame Gun Manufacturers and their lobbying group, the NRA.

I have studied this in depth. Corporate America is the puppet master for all these morons that think they know what they are talking about yet only repeat what they are told to repeat by an organization "dictatorship/tyranny".

Gun industry was on hard times until they struck a deal with the NRA in '05. All of a sudden the NRA was selling anything worth a buck instead of common sense, free market style.

60%+ of people stated they would take the background vote into consideration in the next election. Even I plan to vote Right the next election (100% the day after Romney lost, I'm at about 85% now due to Right Wingers shooting their own foot).

I believe we have the right to bear arms but the absence of ability to understand different weapons present different dangers is simply IDIOTIC! "Ban hammers, they killed more people than rifles" ...........really? Are you really that stupid? Take a hammer to a shoulder to shoulder crowd and present a massacre idiot...

I believe in gun rights but the gun rights activists lost the cheese that use to be on their cracker. FACT.

Absolutely. It's a racket....

The thing is...the free market barely exists anymore in this country. It's almost entirely rigged in favor of the giants of their given industries....they squash competition whenever they can on the up and up, and if they can't squash it by manipulating prices(only to raise them somewhere else), they lobby Congress for legislation that benefits them and hamstrings smaller competitors

Quit using your brain. This country is based on "YEEEEEEHAWWWWW" ideals. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, who cares what the statistics say. Some people have noticed the time and the manipulation that has happened since...........the Constitution was written. Others tell you, "You can't change it, it's solid"

I don't WANT to change the Constitution. But if some idiots are going to balance the dangers of "guns with hammers" then it's time for a change. Too many morons don't know that the Constitution CAN be changed with due process. Americans ARE FREE TO THINK FREELY. We are not restricted by the Constitution, we are actually Liberated by the Constitution. Only a select few have no idea how to think about what is best for America and only want to look cool on forums and tell others they are not allowed to think...........because the Constitution thinks for them.

What was your point again?

What was your point again?

My response wasn't directed to you kid. I was simply agreeing with someone else.

If you didn't get the post by reading it you are hopeless.

Corporate America controls Political America. This isn't rocket science and there is proof beyond proof.

Or maybe you can explain why we can use "Oil Fracking" in the USA even though it is hurting the American People. And Bush passed a law that, "The lubricants in the oil drilling system are like the ingrediants to Taco Soup. Even though there is TONS of proof it is hurting people, we can't expose it because if we give up our drilling lubricant recipe.......it isn't the FREE MARKET anymore.....

I hope you learned something. (I don't doubt it, I know you didn't because I know politics)

I learned that you think that the only ones allowed to respond to your stupiidity, are the ones you pick and choose. :)

I believe there's already a thread dedicated to the fracking controversy.

I'm always glad to help those, like you, who lack the ability to think for themselves. :chesh:

HA!

Then tell me one thought you had that wasn't a parrot of Fox News kid.

Since I'm don't watch Fox News, I'm unable to fulfill your request; but it is apparent that you are the spokesman for the liberal talking points.

If he's the spokesperson for liberal talking points, that makes you the Jerry's Kid poster child of teabagger nonsense.
