So lets get this straight. The reason 27 white people were slaughtered before Christmas was because of racism? I guess that makes sense to some :palm:


it won't really bring about an end to these mass slayings and it will not address the core problem we have. Connecticut had one of the strongest gun laws in the country. That did nothing to prevent the murders of 20 small children on December 14th.

If it isn't going to work, then why do it?

If you read the rest of the article and if you read other articles by Mr. Moore, you will come to the conclusion that what he says is, by and large, correct. Naturally you will NEVER, NEVER admit it.
He says that one of America's problems is its violent mind set. That is fact and even you with your very peculiar views of the world would be unable to deny it without the usual, 'But I know a guy who blah, blah, blah and that proves you wrong' bull shit.
You demonstrate that with every drool soaked, ink stained stabbing finger that pounds at your keyboard.
 
Ct. has the 6th fewest gun deaths, while having the 4th strongest gun laws. Proof that gun laws work.

Of course, any state with republicans will still suffer at the hands of the nutjob gun freaks.

what's amusing is your obvious double standard of violent. you take a small portion of the US population that is 'glorified' by the media and brand the whole country with that label, yet ignore countries like England, who's crime rate is higher than ours with a smaller population, yet you slap the 'civilized nation' label on them. that is your bullshit, not ours.

And if you read the article with an open mind, you note the sentence, "Connecticut had one of the strongest gun laws in the country. That did nothing to prevent the murders of 20 small children on December 14th."....and that is the nuts and bolts of the issue.....

I am not American. I don't give a hoot for the minutae of the matter. You can trawl Mr. Moores words and find things, out of context or that are not strictly accurate and cream your jeans as much as you like.
I have said here, many times - and I am happy to be in accord with Mr. Moore, that you (Americans) have a violent mindset. Your answer to every problem is to confront and hit out. You think it is normal behaviour. You think it proves your manhood. You think you would lose by seeing anyone elses point of view.
In all these things you are out of step with the rest of humanity (And you will say, at this point, 'we dont give a rats ass for the rest of humanity') and that is the problem your president and Americans of intelligence are doing their best to solve.
So yes, Jolly Jack, your profound ignorance and your locked mind might keep you safe and happy, but you represent a major part of America's problem.
I happen to think Piers Morgan is a prat, but he hit the nail squarely on the head the other day and showed Southern America just what it is.
