what you want to do is nitpick each case to hopefully prove the left/right issue for your own political desires instead of the real issue, which is making the government more responsible for the health and well being of kids and people. I'm not turning this in to a left right issue, i'm criticizing the bigger government role. THAT is how obamacare will end up.

yes, it will. it's inevitable. the more power you give government, the greater the bureaucracy and red tape, the more tragedies like the OP will happen. it won't matter whether it's dems or repubs running the nation at the time.

There a lot of huge leaps of logic you take there. People generally say they don't need the government, until they actually do.

You realize that private insurance carriers routinely deny critical coverage & care to those who need it?

i'm not denying that. what I'm doing is showing y'all the fundamental failure of government run ANYTHING, but this area specifically, and there will be ZERO accountability for it's failures. why is that difficult for you to understand?

So you're not really arguing about Obamacare. You're making an argument that government simply fails, at every level, regardless. You're making an argument that government shouldn't be involved in any aspect of our lives - security, defense, transportation, energy, foreign affairs.

You're arguing that there should be no government; not just that there shouldn't be Obamacare.

so you're really going to use liberal talking points about Libertarianism wanting to make the US in to Somalia.

it's an incredible leap of logic to claim that restricting government involvement to the bare minimum required is advocating that there should be no government.

It's not that big of a leap when you say the gov't fails when they try to run anything - anything at all.

Why would we want gov't running anything if they fail at running anything?

You don't even know anything about Obamacare. A big part of the savings will be realized by improving services. It will happen by force. Medicare cuts will be made to hospitals that readmit patients for the same problem, if it wasn't treated properly the first time.

Obamacare focuses on improved care, preventive care, and reductions in profit taking.

The care is still delivered by the private sector. The case on the table has been directly tied to a teabag governor who made cuts to Medicaid, while giving money to hospitals that don't service the low income patients.

This, instead of raising taxes to pay for education.

That's a far cry from your claims about Obamacare.

There's no evidence any of those countries or any politician in those countries are running to have the plan overturned. I don't know where the Right get their impression of ObamaCare.

There is no real fact just fictions and fear, that's all it takes to program those who are lazy and willfully ignorant.
