Lots of reasons, but if Mitt is looking strictly at his campaign & what he could have done, I don't think there is much doubt that his decision to run out the clock, starting w/ the 3rd debate, was disastrous. He bought into the media myth of "Mittmentum", and played it way too safe in the final 2 weeks.
I can agree with that.
I don't think he's a good person. /......I've heard this more than once....some even use the the word "evil".....
I don't quite get it....what did he do or say that reflects that badly on his personal character....?
While I do not agree that Romney is self made. I do agree he is a man of great moral cheracter and an outstanding public servant.
Also, his stupid statement about 18-29 year olds, still living at home with mommy! My 26 year old makes $60K a year, owns his own home in Texas and just traveled to Australia with his 29 year old brother who has a great job, too, for a fourteen day vacation!

Things that did not help him were:
1) His refusal to release his tax returns, like his father did.
2) His failure to distance himself from Donald Trump.
3) His failure to respond to being swiftboated about his experience with Bain.
4) His oldfashoned perspective on women.
5) His lying about the, "you did not build that" remark.
6) His 47% comment, and refusal to immideatly apologise.
7) The desperation of the Jeep ads.

On Monday night football he said he wanted to crack down on performance enhancing drugs. Most people I know don't think that's the gov'ts business. He just reminded a lot of potential voters why to not vote for him.
I could not care less if you have sex, just pay for your own contraception otherwise I am helping pay for you to have sex, then it is my business and I should be able to regulate it, just like anything else. As far as abortion, rape, incest, and mothers life, those are the circumstances under which Mitt was for a woman having an abortion. Obama said anytime, any place, and if it should happen to come out alive no care should be given, let it die, wow what a caring sum beetch! If you have sex remember pregnancy could occur, that is my public service announcement, be accountable for your actions

no one ever claimed he did either and his background is probably not that much different than yours or Obamas by any significant degree for that matter.....
but all this is irrelevant to the election.

The military thing drive me crazy w/ Romney/Ryan. How can you talk about meaningfully reducing the deficit without talking about cuts to the military?
When he talked about it, all he said was that he wouldn't cut defense spending because a President's most important job is protecting the country. That's a meaningless reason, and could be used to justify any military budget, no matter how astronomically high.
How about we just do away with foreign aid especially to the muslim brotherhood, let em hate us for free, then maybe more money would be available to help our own. Al Qaeda already thinks we are weak because of our lack of response in Benghazi. How about we stop propping up Islamic extremist regimes in the middle east. Egypt, Libya, and we are trying to help Syria be defeated, and are in back stabbing back room talks with Iran. Wonder how much we are promising them, educate yourself and get back to me.
It is the Presidents number one priority, and part of the oath he takes.

Well, yay for that. I don't even disagree w/ that. But it's not a justification for virtually any budget # you can think of for defense.
How many workers are you willing to put out of work by cutting military defense spending ?.....The impact will be substantial.
