We’ve been over this before. My interest is two-fold. One is due to having friends in America subjected to an archaic medical system (prior ObamaCare) and the second is the war-mongering mind set of the Repub party. The illegal invasion and wanton destruction of countries and cultures is appalling and is every human being’s business.

Obamacare did absolutely nothing to improove healthcare in the USA.
We still have the best Drs on earth, the best hospitals, the very best healthcare , hands down.

The difference is that OBAMADONTCARE forces people to purchase a product from a private company under threat of punitive taxation.
What next?
We have to buy mc Donald's or pay more tax?

5 years ago liberals talked about 20 million uninsured in the USA.
4 years ago they spoke of 30 million,
2 years ago they spoke of 40 million.
Today they speak of 50 million uninsured.


OBAMADONTCARE has created a massive increase in those without insurance.

If the Repubs hadn't been in the way a different (better) plan would have resulted. The problem was Obama tried to work with the Repubs in the beginning and that poisoned ObamaCare. For example, a government option should have been included. However, ObamaCare is a work in progress. It will slowly become a true government plan.

If you're referring to the Canadian plan you've been listening to propaganda. I spent considerable time up close and personal with the system after spending 3 months in hospital with continued follow-up. Something as routine as a blood test. Sure, I wait a hour. I can always pay $150.00 at a private clinic but unless I'm earning $150.00/hr logic dictates I grab a newspaper and do a little reading for an hour.

He did for those who have pre-existing conditions. He did for those under 26 who are now covered by their parent's plan. And don't forget more features come on line over the next two years.

A foot race is not a matter of life and death. As for being obtuse people are not created equal. From nature (genetics) to nurture (upbringing) a number of things determine the adult result. As a society that has to be taken into consideration. When a child has a learning disability we do not simply throw them out of school. We supply alternative schooling and do our best to fit them into society.

If we had a 17 year old who stayed in his room and never participated in activities with others we would take him to a doctor to find out what the problem was. However, at 18, many would consider him a lazy adult. The same applies to older and younger. Whether the child is 10 or the adult is 25 if they do not have the "normal" interest in life then something is wrong, be it physical or emotional. The increased access to doctors will be a big plus in such cases.

The bottom line is the poor need help. Nobody wants to be poor to the point they suffer.

Yet Democrats accuse Republicans of wanting the poor to suffer. And their policies to "help" the poor has simple created more poor.

More poor? Are you referring to employment? If so, the unemployment level is almost exactly where it was when Obama took office.

What some people fail to realize is the damage the Repubs did over 8 years is not easily corrected.

When 37 polling sites in Miami-Dade and Broward counties opened at 7 a.m. on the last day of early voting, two had five-hour waits. The wait was four hours or longer at three other sites.

And the waits only got longer.

Voters in line by the time closed at 7 p.m. were allowed to vote. At 6:42 p.m., the Miami-Dade elections department estimated that a half a dozen sites had six-hour lines. On Friday, the Miami-Dade voters had stayed open until 11 p.m.

At the Miramar Library on Saturday night, 56-year-old Dan Whiting said he thought the line would shrink as the day grew older.

He was wrong. He arrived at around 6:30 p.m. and his expected wait time was four to five hours. The line had about 550 people.

That's one measure. The Obama promised to lower it and he has failed. He also has more people on food stamps than ever before in history. More on the dole than any other time in history. This proves what I have been saying for years: subsidize poverty and you will have more of it. Obviously then, that's the goal of The Obama and your beloved Democrat Party, to have more poor, because they tend to vote in their own self interest.
 
This is a great example of how the RWA's spend their time trying to make issues where none exist in an attempt to ignore real issues like voter suppression. When one group of people spends so much money and effort to keep people from voting the best revenge the disenfranchised have is to vote....

The unemployment rate went up under Bush when he succeeded Clinton. The unemployment rate has not risen under Obama. According to your logic Bush wanted more poor.
