Supercandy afraid of reality puts those who speak truth on Ignore...zygote not child!

except that is bullshit... it is not morally consistent.

SOME war may fall into that category, but not all war.

You would be morally consistent to protect innocent lives. Bosnia is a perfect example of such. Somalia, the Sudan, Rwanda etc... all also would have been morally consistent. Protecting innocent lives.
I can say the same for abortion.

I tried to tell him that the brain stem is not the same as the brain proper, I likened it to a router in a data network compared to the real brain which is a server without an operating system until around the 26th week. Unfortunately his own OS is like Windows Vista in that it is bloated, slow and crashes a lot!!
It's not even that advanced. Comparing the brain vesicles of the neural tube at 5 weeks to a brain is like comparing a soup can with a string to a smart phone. That's just silly.

Other than 'I don't like it', yes you are. And so is your retarded party, retard. Probably because many of the 'family values' crowd who can't conceive on their own have utilized them. Ooops.

the current statement of the party platform regarding the identification of "personhood" will solve all three problems.....now, back to your groundless claims.....

bulshit called and your bullshit raised. Please provide a citation. I believe Jarod is factually correct.

okay....
On June 14, 1995, the resolution HR1833 IH was introduced to the House of Representatives. The bill was known as the "Partial-Birth Abortion Ban of 1995." The bill, if passed would have illegalized partial birth abortions as defined below and set a sentence of at least 2 years for person's who broke this law. The bill allowed the exception in the case if "the partial-birth abortion was necessary to save the life of the woman upon whom it was performed, and no other form of abortion would suffice for that purpose."

The House passed the bill in 1995 with 288 yeas to 139 nays. The Senate passed the bill 54-44 on Dec. 7, 1995. President Clinton than vetoed the bill on April 10, 1996.

Congress attempted to override the veto but after gaining enough votes in the Housed they failed in the Senate with a vote of 57 to 41. The needed number of votes was 67.

He did? Seriously? LOL

yes seriously....I take it you didn't have to study embryology to get your degree in agar production?....
Week 1–3
5–7 days after fertilization, the blastocyst attaches to the wall of the uterus (endometrium). When it comes into contact with the endometrium it performs implantation. Implantation connections between the mother and the embryo will begin to form, including the umbilical cord. The embryo's growth centers around an axis, which will become the spine and spinal cord. The brain, spinal cord, heart, and gastrointestinal tract begin to form.[2]

Week 4–5
Chemicals produced by the embryo stop the woman's menstrual cycle. Neurogenesis is underway, showing brain activity at about the 6th week.[3] The heart will begin to beat around the same time. Limb buds appear where arms and legs will grow later. Organogenesis begins. The head represents about one half of the embryo's axial length, and more than half of the embryo's mass. The brain develops into five areas. Tissue formation occurs that develops into the vertebra and some other bones. The heart starts to beat and blood starts to flow.[2]

do you recall from your studies what causes a heart to beat?......

For all you pro-abortionists out there... I challenge you to watch the ultrasound of an abortion at 11 weeks. Then come back on here and try to justify that 'choice'.

We all know Darla won't... will the rest of you?

And I challenge anti-abortionists to visit a hospital that specializes in the care of babies born with genetic illnesses. Let them hear the cries and watch the needless suffering. Then come back in here and try to justify their "choice".

It demonstrates that his sources are superior to yours. The brain begins developing from the 4th pair of somites on the neural tube into the three primary brain vesicles in the 4th week of development. This is NOT the same thing as having a brain. The brain continues development adding more folds of nueral tissue and developing many of the structures we're familiar with such as, cerebral cortex, retina, thalamus, hypthalamus, pons, cerebrum, cerebellum, after the 20th week (4.5 months) until birth (40th week). This is also about the time (20th week) that that nuerones begin connecting with other neurones to form synaptic connections. With out synaptic connections there is no brain function, so the protobrain of fetal development doesn't occur until midway through fetal development (20th week) and continues well beyond birth.

So either your sources suck or you simply don't understand what you are reading.

at five weeks does the embryos brain produce brain waves?.....hint: the embryos heart is beating......

/shrugs, and comparing Anorexia's brain to that of a 5 week old brain is like comparing soup to the soup can.....

I tried placenta soup once. To be honest with you it was pretty fucking gross.

you probably didn't add enough fetus.

Here is my recipe:

Ingredients:
1 fetus
1 placenta
assorted herbs

1. Take a very ripe fetus, the more recently aborted the better, and blend until creamy
(Removing the baby eyes is optional, I keep them in because it adds a little extra pizazz)

2. Mix in with the placenta, with onion, garlic (can never have too much garlic) oregano, celery

3. add salt and pepper to taste

4. Top off with a little bit of parsley for garnish and color

Enjoy!

I understand that there will always be a need and thus a demand. What I would like to see is that need reduced to a minimum. I guess what I'm saying is an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Remember the drinking and driving ADS years ago on TV? The billboards? The signs and posters just about everywhere?

Where is the campaign for birth control? Why aren't condoms as prevalent as chocolate bars and chewing gum at check-outs?

I don't think we'll ever get a handle on abortion until society matures sexually.

It missrepresents the position of those who oppose abortion. These are deep seated and often religious convictions. Yes some politicians manipulate that for political purposes but that's not why large numbers of people oppose abortion, so that they can manipulate the issue to gain political powers. I also think it's innappropriate to question their motives.

But my point is that one can oppose abortion, even believe it should be illegal, while still spending there time and money on a more efficent way of ending abortion than to work on making it illegal.

If it is really a matter of life and death, then should they not be using the most effecent means of limiting it, not waisting 35 years on trying to make it illegal?

LMAO... so you would rather kill not only those with genetic defects but millions of the unborn that do not have defects because a small percentage are born with defects? yeah... thanks for sharing a great example of the liberal mindset.

The way the Right act is akin to standing by a river watching a crowd of people walking into a river only to be drowned, instead of shouting out and warning those not yet in the river not to go in, they are trying to pass legislation to make swiming illegal.
