The fact that you appear determined to ignore, because of course, as a yank your shit dont stink, is that a sovereign nation decides what is and is not legal and determines what punishments should be meted out for transgression of those laws.
Most civilised countries stopped killing lawbreakers several years ago. America and china both believe that crime is wrong and that some crimes should be met with a death sentence. In your case you throw up your hands in horror when someone kills people in a cinema or temple but salivate at the thought of killing those very people in retribution.
Sane? Not really. Civilised? Certainly not.
The similarities between the US and China are growing every day, but you can't see it.

Yeah, I'm gonna retract that statement, as it's unclear which America the world would actually prefer.

Does it want a withdrawn, tribal society, with a King Barack Hussein Obama the First, or does it want a free society that's always ready to assist with global concerns?

Does it want a Union of Utopian Socialists whose needy, reactive, residents swing from the trees of ill managed forests? Or does it want a strong, self reliant citizenry, fueled by determined individualism?

These are all excellent questions that I am not yet prepared to answer, nor do I have the time to answer them at this point.

What's your read on all of this, Socialist?

I'm going to say bullshit. With organizations like the ACLU and folks with the liberal media breathing down everybody's back, a more accurate guess would be about 3% maybe less.

Who are you to say what people deserve? Civilised countries do NOT kill felons. It really is as simple as that. If you wish to be part of the world, to hold your head high with other nations you cannot continue to commit governmental murder.
How on earth can you say that the guy who killed the Sikhs or the guy who killed the cinema goers is wrong if you then commit the same crime upon them. I guess one of your famous freedoms is the freedom to have double standards.

I think the world would prefer an America that respected itself, its people, its allies and all people and creatures on the planet. A tall order for brain dead loonies like you.
